This is an edited version of a longer fic that's not yet ready for public viewing. This version, especially for this site, is the second half or so and everything that's happened so far is basically explained in the first couple of chapters. I chose to only upload this part of the story here, because the first part doesn't feature a lot of Snape-Harry interaction, so I'm starting the story just before the signs of a Severitus start to kick in! In case it's not as clear as I hope it is, these are the main points of the story so far:

+ Harry's been attempting suicide for years, and Prof. McGonagall pulled him out of the lake in January (GoF) after he tried to drown himself

+ Prof. McGonagall has been giving him counselling ever since. Now he's facing his issues rather than repressing them, Harry's feeling and acting more sensitive

+ After several mentions of the word "freak", he's admitted to Prof. McGonagall about the Dursleys' abuse. She's promised to persuade Dumbledore to make different arrangements for the summer

+ Ron and Harry are now a couple

I think that's it - any more things I've left unexplained, just ask in a review and I'll try and cover them.
