Summary: Write a story centered around Harry being very bad at Hogwarts. Some of us have written of this to some extent, but I want to see a story centered around this as the main issue.
What would they do to Harry if he was just continually bad and defiant (as bad as Severus thinks he is). Would they kick Harry out, or keep him there because he is destined to defeat the Dark Lord?

Ideas for a few things that might have brought Dudley:
- Dudley's there to keep him safe from something or someone.
- Dudley is actually magic too. Did he start out going with Harry in year 1 or did he come in a later year?
- Dudley is allowed to visit Harry for some reason.
- Dudley and Harry are both in the custody of someone that lives at Hogwarts so Hogwarts is their full time home.
Potential questions to think about:
- If Dudley ends up going to school, which house does he really belong in?
- Is Dudley the canon Dudley or is he different somehow?
- If Dudley is Muggle but staying at Hogwarts for an extended period of time, what does that look like for him on a daily basis and who are his friends?

There shall be NO SLASH in this story AT ALL.
Bonus if you somehow work Draco in to this looking up to Snape as well, but not required. Ron and Harry should still be friends.

Summary: The Dursley's withheld food practically all summer for Harry, feeding him very little only once every three days. Now Harry's coming back for his fifth, sixth, or seventh year and he's extremely weak. He can barely climb the stairs to get into the castle. He collapses and who should find him? Snape and McGonagall. For some reason they can't take him to the Hospital Wing to be treated.
Bonus if: Snape thinks Harry has passed out because he was drunk, and or Draco takes advantage of Harry's weakness and pushes him down the front steps he has just worked so hard to climb. Bonus if Harry's friends aren't talking to him for some reason, which is the reason he's alone in the first place that night while everyone else is at the feast.
The rest is up to you! Can be a one-shot, but should be a long one-shot (nothing less than five pages... I hate those two paragraph one-shots). Bonus if you make it a multi-chapter story with good plot and character development.

* Is he happy there?
* Is Harry a young man or is he older? Does he have a family that lives with him at the school?
* Does Harry already have a pre-established good relationship with Snape? Are they still at odds? Are they a father and son?
* Is Harry just teaching at Hogwarts for a little while or is this his career?
* Is Harry the character we know and love or has he changed in some way for the better or the worse?
* Is Harry just filling in for someone temporarily? Is he actually an auror and he's there on assignment pretending to be a teacher? Is he a teacher in training (apprentice to another teacher), or is he seasoned?
* Are any other kids from Harry's year there teaching?
