Summary: Each chapter depicts a summer in Harry's life, from pre-Hogwarts till he becomes a ward of Snape. Angst with a happy ending!

Summary: Harry has always been brought up with the knowledge that he is good for nothing, useless, basically not worth the time nor effort and he is a failure in everything he tried to do (canonical child abuse).
Enters Severus Snape. Canonically despises Harry and uses the same words/phrases that the Dursleys used on Harry and this reinforces Harry's POV on his self-worth. Due to Draco's obsession to fly better than Harry, he ends up neglecting on his classwork and this reflects in his Potions. Severus then has this bright idea to use 'reverse psychology' and started praising Harry whenever Draco is in earshot, hoping to urge Draco to work harder in Potions.
Crucial: Harry knows what Severus is doing and during detention or some other opportunity, confronts Severus about it and (bonus!) tells him, "I know you don't mean it but do you truly think I have potential?"
Cues Severus having an epiphany and thus finding out the reason for Harry's lack of self worth and attempts to make Harry believe in himself. Lots and lots of angst and hurt/comfort!

Summary: Harry stutters. He stutters but only under very specific kind of situation, when he is in a certain emotional state. People who knows: Hermione, Ron, Ginny (and dursleys because they are terrible people who cant ignore others' weaknesses).
Conditions:
Canonical Dursley abuse, peer bullying before Hogwarts.
in stable relationship: Harry/Ginny, Hermione/Ron
How they found out, how they support and cover for Harry is up to author's plan.
Bonus:
A scene taking place after Potions, where Snape did something that triggered Harry into stuttering and Snape, being Snape, taunted Harry so bad that he left the class and met up with Ginny who was having a break. Cues Ginny, unable to take it anymore, went in search of Snape behind Harry's back to confront Snape of his own bullying. Ending up Snape finding out about Harry's background and working together with ginny/hermione/ron to help Harry overcome his past abuse and stuttering.
Lots of angst, hurt/comfort with happy ending!
[ps. this is mainly to satisfy my own desire to read more severitus fics with ginny, hermione and ron being involved as a support system for insecure harry]

Summary: Instead of a magical influence, make it a developed AU where Harry is a preschool/elementary teacher and somehow a new child (Severus) transfers to his school and is allocated into Harry's class. (in light of the spring fest, school term can prolly start in spring?)
cue plot, h/c and shenanigans! how/why Severus was transferred to Harry's school is up to the author's discretion.
bonus:
- multi chapter!
- includes most of canon characters; could even bring in lily and the maruders as classmates of severus for example
- severus being in-character even as a kid; he could be surly and everything initially but he gotta warm up to harry in a logical sense (think of his family background and general distrust with male adult/authorative figures)
- harry being harry; similar family background as severus hence prolly would be more understanding and knows what to do to make severus feel safe with him
