    I love how this story is so deep psycologically. (is that how it's spelled?), and how every decision made really affects the characters and how they feel and react. this may sound like something trivial, but to see it so well done as in this fic is something i feel is rare.

    i've waited so long for this and I'm so happy you updated! You're truly one of the most talented writers I've ever seen in fanfiction.

    A nice chapter with some lovely scenes. I especially liked Arthur and Snape in the kitchen and Harry's and Snape's conversation out in the gardens. Snape's comparison of Luna's and Harry's situations was wonderful, absolutely spot-on.

    I can't wait for the next chapter.

In an old-fashioned house with no comforts and a huge black dog, Harry finds himself at Snape's mercy as Snape plays mind games and makes Harry live through different scenarios. Though Snape seems crazy and psychotic, Harry begins to see reasons behind Snape's sporadic behavior.

There is corporal punishment, but it is different from what I've written before. This is a Mean!Snape story for the most part. If you're looking for a cuddly story, go elsewhere please.

    I didn't fully understand the whole thing with the Salvus, but that's probably more stupidity on my part than anything else ;)
    It's wonderful, as always, and I liked the action.

    Sorry the Salvus thing was confusing.  :(   It was something Snape created to keep Harry safe-it just had some undesirable side effects.  That's all you really need to know.  :)
