    Just a brilliant story and I truly enjoyed the x-files style epilogue. Irresistable. I'm curious about Snape's middle name... could it come from a character by the name of Obadiah Slope portrayed by Alan Rickman?

    My only objection here is it is implied that Severus still thinks of Lily as a Mudblood as that is how his thoughts referred to her.

    I love this story, I do. You are a fantastic writer. Harry does come off as self-centered in his need to "always know". Gryffindor ought to be known as that House of "busy-bodies".

    I swear that Snape must have the patience of a saint having to deal with a son who keeps breaking the promises he makes to his own father.

    And, Hermione? Gods I am so mad at her I want to spit teeth!

    Really magnificent story. I've been glued to it for two days. I'm not always fond of original characters, but Ryan was written very well and his mystery was interesting, to say the least.

    Author's Response: Thank you!  Ryan was a wonderful surprise for me.  I knew his basic bio from the beginning, of course, but as I went along and really got to know him, he turned out to be a terrific character and was so much fun to write.
