With a strange potion, new location and the odd Muggle Studies Professor along for the ride, Harry's in for an interesting summer, but why is Snape here? Dumbledore had better pray he gets all three back in one piece! Humor, Angst, No Mary Sues, No Romance, no real plot.

I am anxious to see what happens when Harry has a tantrum. I'm betting that Snape won't tolerate that. I really love Harry, will he go back to being sixteen, or stay six? Love him either way, but I hope that he can have Snape as a guardian even if he goes back to being 16. Author's Response: I can't wait either! Sigh. Oh well. Nope, Snape won't tolerate it. :) Don't worry, I am sure that you will like the rest of the story, and what comes after it.
I remember enjoying this story, the first time I read it, but I didn't belong to this site yet, so I never was able to post a review. But yipee, now I can! I also love how Snape is with Harry, he has to be strict with him becaue Hoppity spoils him rotten! He would turn into Dudley, if Snape didn't balance it out! But I love Hoppity anyway, and I course, Sev is my favourite! Author's Response: Thank you for your review! I want to update soon, because having great reviews like this reminds me of the magic of the story. But I will have to take care of my school work first.
Author's Response: Yes, there is a very good chance!!! I am planning on updating the story within the next two weeks. it just depends on when. :) Thanks for reminding me and still wanting an update after all this time. :D
I love it. Poor Harry though. Snape is so evil. I hope Harry does get back at him when he gets older! LOL! I can't wait for the tantrum! You know that "I'll" always be around to bug you to update! And yes...you do have a lot of readers who are still interested in reading your wonderful story. I've fallen in love with Harry, I want to just hug him and ruffle his messy black hair. Oh..;and don't tell Snape, but I'd love to hug him too...of course, he would probably hex me into oblivian. In which case, I would blackmail him with Cathy's picture from LC group of Snape in a speedo! :) Ok, hurry up and get snappy. (Ok, you get a break for Christmas) I'm dying for "the tantrum"! Author's Response: I'm so sorry for taking so long to update! It really was much too long. I'll try to do better. Thank you for always being such a loyal reader!! It's what keeps me coming back to the story and continuing on. I hope that you enjoy the next parts.
Obviously, I would read your story anyway because I love it, but it just seems that it's hard to find a story lately that doesn't have CP. Although there are a few stories that I'll read anyway, because they are so well written, I prefer stories that don't have that. I just think that there are other ways to punish children, and Harry has already been subjected to abuse by the Dursley's and I think that it would be harmful for him to be hit. I don't think that Hoppity would stand for it anyway! That said... I am thrilled that you have updated and would read anything that you wrote! Author's Response: Don't worry, I am not planning on having CP in my story. I have taken psychology and I know that it isn't the way to go. That is actually what is taking the chapter so long, because I can't really get what Snape does correctly while keeping him in character, and the muse hasn't told me what happens yet. Hopefully it will come soon. :) Thank you for being a loyal fan and for reviewing and reminding me to update! :)
I could see Snape struggling with himself not to hit Harry. You could have his inner turmoil on that, and then I could realistically see him getting frustrated, picking Harry up bodily and putting him in his room with a strong warning to stay put or else! Then when Harry calms down, I could see Snape coming up with some punishment that Harry absolutely loathes, like he's not allowed to play outside, or not allowed to watch tv, or scrub caulderons or something equally horrible. But yeah...I could see Snape definitely wanting to hit Harry, but stopping himself because of Hoppity and not wanting to be like his own abusive father. Yeah, you could have Hoppity and Snape arguing about an appropriate punishment. That would make nice angst! Oh, I'm not trying to tell you how to write your story, just offering ideas. But I have faith that you'll come up with something great and funny too! Oh...I'm so anxious for the next part! Did I say that I'm really glad that you're back! Author's Response: Thank you so much for this review!! i didn't tell you at the time, but your comments helped me get over the hurdle of writing this scene, and helped me figure out what was going to happen! You really helped contribute! Thank you! I thought about all of your ideas, and came up with a scebe, but I'm afraid that I didn't write it down right away, so I forgot about the details and just wrote what came to me. It would be interesting to see some alternate one-shots, however.
I love this story. I really hope that you can find some time in your busy schedule soon to update ! Pretty please with sugar on top? Author's Response: Hi Pandora! :) I'm going to try to write some on Sunday, but no promises! :) Thanks for being so patient!
I love the addition to the chapter too, and I can't wait to read "The Tantrum". I can just imagine. Snape has the patience of a...well I can't quite think of an analogy, because I just woke up! Author's Response: Thank you Pandora! :) I'm so glad that you liked the addition to the chapter.
She shouldn't have really given him the toast, but I guess that especially for Harry given his background, it wouldn't do for him to go hungry, just because he's being stubborn, but at least she didn't give in and give him noodles. I'm so glad that you've updated and I'm looking forward to the NEXT update!! Which I hope will be soon? Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review, Pandora! Yes, I felt that it was important for Snape and Hoppity to show a united front. It really isn't good for Harry to do without dinner because of his past and how skinny he is. They don't know it yet, but they will soon. I don't know if Harry would have been able to sleep if he was hungry. Probably, but it seemed a little too cruel for Hoppity to do. I think part of the reason why he was so cranky was because he was hungry. Sorry for taking so long to update! I think that future chapters will come easier. I just have to set time aside to write. I stayed up all night to write for six hours because the story came to me, and I wanted to make sure that I got it all. It's not beta'd at all, and I'm sure that I will find things to improve, but I'm just glad that I updated, honestly. It really was too long. Thanks for your review!!
Also, I had to laugh about the whole "vegetable" thing, because I'm a vegetarian, and my kids make fun of me for eating veggies all the time, and they chant "Can't make friends with salad" to me. I just can't seem to sell them on the idea of becoming a veggie though! LOL! Wonder why? Kids and veggies, just don't get along! :) Author's Response: Awww, yeah. Kids and veggies don't seem to mix, although Harry was good about eating veggies earlier. I think his age is starting to rub off on him. :) Thanks so much for your review and for still reading! :) |
