Answer to Fic Fest Challenge #5. Harry is making breakfast for the Dursleys, when he hears a noise. He looks outside and finds Severus Snape collapsed on the back porch. He helps his professor inside and heals him. Neutrality and thanks are exchanged.

Nice little story. I would have wished for a bit more detail though, on Harry's thoughts, maybe his hesitation to touch his professor to clean his wounds, stuff like that. - I really liked the last sentence!
After the final war, Harry has to make decisions about where he will go and who he will let into his life as he begins to reexamine his judgements about people. This story takes place at the end of the Seventh book, but before the Epilogue. SPOILERS for Deathly Hallows! Interaction with Snape is not in the first few chapters, but he will be a prominent firgure in this story.

I read this story a while ago, but I think I haven't reviewed it yet. So I'll do now, while I am re-reading... I really liked this chapter. It was depressing, but it is hardly to expect that everything would be sunshine and laughter after such a dark time. The judges are everything but unbiased, and hardly qualified. Hard to find someone who is a)qualified, b) still alive and c) hasn't been in league with Voldemort...

Luna is so fantastic! I suppose a little difficult to live with, though. Great chapter!

"I have some bad news and some more bad news and some worse news." - that was so brilliant!

Good start! I liked the way you described Snape's thoughts on his students, especially Theodore Nott (and I wonder if he will play a more important part later on in your story). And the part where you explained about the relationship between young, easy to impress, Severus and older, self-confident Lucius was very well done, too, I thought! I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter.
Author's Response: Hi there Asterix. Welcome on board. So pleased you have started ASD. Thank you for the review. Glad you enjoyed it. Lesley

Oh! So was my feeling right? Was it Nott who gave the silver object to Harry? Full of suspense, this chapter!
Author's Response: Hi again. Still enjoying? Now you wouldn't want me to spoil the surprise, would you. Lesley

"I wouldn't waste my time or compromise my immortal soul any more than it already is by killing you, you insolent little whelp, when all I have to do is wait for your love of heroics to do the job for me. But I wonder, just how many of your foolishly, faithful friends you will manage to get killed before that happy day arrives." - That's really cruel beyond words. Yes, I understand, Harry must have really offended him, after Snape is probably completely exhausted due to 3 days of intensive care, but still, inexcusably cruel, I think! "Our brilliant potions master is not just a pretty face, my love," he said in all seriousness and Minerva chuckled as he had known she would. - Pretty face indeed! I loved that!
Author's Response: Oh, yes, our Severus is very cruel. Harry really caught him on the raw here, and Sev responded in the way he does best. Cruel is his speciality. Glad you liked the interaction with Minerva and Albus. Hope you're still enjoying it. Lesley

Oh dear. Mr Granger will have wolfish tendencies. The thought makes me shudder a little, probably because I've got my next appointment with the dentist tomorrow...
Author's Response: Thank you! I hope your dentist visit went well; I always dread that too.
