So....hello! I'm Angelauthor14, age 15, british. I adore all Snape-raises-Harry fics and I have been writing my own, which is coming along well. I have also written a one-shot (which is fast looking like it is going to turn into a longer fic!) about the Potters speaking to Snape's portrait and that was so much fun to write!

 My favourite ever Guardian!Snape fic is Kbinnz's 'Harry's New Home', it is amazing.

There are many other amazing authors on this site too which is slightly intimidating as I'm sure I will never measure up to any of them but it is a lot of fun to read their work!

    That was so cute! The ending was just so perfect, and good timing (Halloween and all). I loved Snape as the strict dad and I think he would be just as scary in muggle attire! Really great one-shot.

    Wow, this was so descriptive! I could really picture it all, it was written so well. You have so many lovely, original ideas in here as well. You want to know ways to improve it? There's only one thing I can think of...*chants* sequel, sequel, sequel!

    Aww I'm glad Lily stuck up for Sev. It would be horrible if they argued over James.

    Author's Response: It would but luckily Lily knows how James can be and won't stand for any nonsense from him. Plus she knew exactly how Severus disciplined Harry and that helped a lot when she defended him to James.  Thanks so much for reviewing all my chapters.

    Awww I love Remus, I don't think I've ever read a Remus/Narcissa, but I enjoyed this.

    That was absolutely AMAZING! I absolutely never even dreamt of a scenario like this when I suggested "Duck!" and you've created something genius with it! It's original to the extreme, it's HILARIOUS and it's so darn cute! I loved it so much! You have some really witty lines in there, and Harry is just adorable! It was really hard to pick out my favourite lines but in the end I narrowed it down to:

    “Phoenix, brat. Phoe-nix.”

    “Now that you mention it,” Severus said dryly, “the Headmaster does indeed bear a certain resemblance to a duck.”

    Severus tried to pull his thumb free with limited success and sighed again. “Fine, keep it. I wasn’t using it anyway.”

    and my ULTIMATE favourite: “As if we didn’t have enough birds in the conversation,” Severus complained, “you choose to teach him to sound like a penguin.”

    Oh and this one; “Duck,” he assured Severus.

    “If you even think of presenting me with such a nickname, Potter, you will be in detention until you pass your NEWTs.”

    The boy smiled. “Ssssnake.”

    “Better,” he acknowledged. “That will get you detention only until your OWLs.”

    I also loved how Harry said "good duck" and "bad duck" whenever someone did something he liked/disliked.That was just adorable! It was ALL adorable though!

    This is now one of my all-time favourite stories, thanks so much for writing it! I still can't believe that you turned my prompt into something so fabulous!
