- 1)there was a portrait that overheard and spread the word. 2)someone (malfoy) was just outside the door and heard (or inside and dissilusioned) and spread the word. 3)Skeeter in all of her bug-like glory was in the hospital wing and heard and wrote it up.

- I'm proud of Harry. He's staying true to himself--and maybe Draco is learing a bit more of the truth about Harry as well--He's not going to start anything, no matter how "justified" it might be. All he ever wanted was to be left alone.

- YOu have this GIFT for twisting my instides into knots until tears run down my face. (granted, the feeling started in the last chapter--which I always go back and read) Between "the talk" and then Sev's thoughts about how to handle both boys, I have a very soggy klenex--I'm such a wuss.
