- YOu just have to feel for the poor kid. It is an awful feeling to know that you are "behind" and falling further and further behind no matter how hard you try. We know that it will be taken care of, but a 13. . . well, it's hard to trust that things will be better in "the future".

- I loved this chapter--you know, I enjoy the show-Extreme make-over: home edition. And that's what I kept thinking about when they were putting Harry's room together. The "kids" rooms on that show are always AMAZING and it sounds like Harry's is even more so.

- You know, I Love SC. I was a bit concerned that you had started another new story and not updated there. But, this is (as usual) amazinly well written and demonstrates wonderful emotion (and of course angst). I'm looking forward to "what's next" for our favorite duo. And how this will differ from SC.

Author's Response: Thank you! No need to worry about SC...it's my top priority (writing priority, that is)! I've done a lot of writing the past few weeks, or at least I feel that I have, and now that "Christmas at Spinner's End" is complete, I'm taking a week's holiday from writing. But I am planning to work on a new chapter for SC later this week. As for "Pair of Phoenixes", I've wondered if I should have even posted it, as I know I'll only be able to work on it in bits here and there, but nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? Thanks again!

In SC you do so much from Harry's POV, but this is almost purely Sev (at least at this point) and I'm impressed. It is very well done.

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, SC is much more Harry's POV, though there probably will be some more scenes from Severus, but in this story right now, I think Severus' POV is better for moving things along. I'm glad you like it!
