Hi, I'm Jan. :D I love Snape and Harry fics, and just mentor fics in general. I first started Potions and Snitches (P&S) as a safe place to find Snape & Harry gen fics without stumbling into Snape and Harry slash (aka Snarry, or HP/SS).

Fandoms that I like to read fanfiction of include: Star Trek, Star Wars, Kung Fu : The Legend Continues, Dragonball Z, Stargate SG1, Batman, Angel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. I like Gen and Mentor fics mostly. I love hurt/comfort, angst, whump, drama, raw emotions, and vivid descriptions best.

I know how to make and edit graphics, icons, and layouts (html and css). I am a master web searcher. XD

My dreams? One day I'd like to be able to run up a mountain effortlessly, or at least easily. :) I'd like to see Potions and Snitches host every single good Snape and Harry Gen fic there ever existed. I'd like to have people who post here get 100 reviews a chapter. I'd like active-to-the-bursting challenges and contests. I want the site to be a great, fun place that readers of Snape and Harry fics loved and knew as active.

    Oh! I absolutely LOVE the changing memories Harry is doing! That is really original and unique and great!! It was such a sweet dream too. :) You might want to check the rating of this story and chapter though, because it gave me a slash warning, and I don't think that that is supposed to be there.

    It's a good story. You should probably check through the chapters more though, because if you don't use a beta you need to fix all the mistakes yourself.

    I love this line: "come with me, make haste." And this one had a big awww factor: Harry was really sorry and wanted to apologize even if Snape did not want him anymore. Awww! Poor, poor lost boy. I really, really loved the emotions, feelings and events in this chapter, you really managed to get the intensity out! Wonderful! As usualy though, there are a lot of mistakes and such. This is not an offer I make often (if ever at all) but if you would like, I wouldn't mind sending you a copy of all the chapters with edits done in red text for you to see and study, or post instead. I think that once you start seeing and noticing some things that you will be able to not make the same mistakes later, or at least make them less frequently. So, are you game? Do you want me to do that? Let me know.

    LOL, your disclaimer rocked!! This chapter was sooo much better! Wow! What an improvement! :) McGonagall chewing Harry out was a riot, the poor boy. I loved Harry's day dreaming, especially about Snape putting peas on his plate! I honestly thought that it was real before Harry was snapped out of it by his friends. I love the day dreams, awesome. haha, Snape's detention was funny, and crazy! A three foot essay? Yikes! And Harry naming 10 punishments, oh boy. Poor kid. I laughed when Snape told him what number 10 was to be, LOL! I thought that Snape's thoughts are a little out of character, but still okay for a story. I liked that Snape didn't really give Harry any of the punishments he wrote down, it was good to give him a break and writing that essay sure was tough! I'm glad that Harry was able to apologize to Dumbledore and that Dumbledore forgave him. The ending was so cute and sweet. I was smiling.

    After all it was intended to heart, he was punishing the boy for Merlin’s sake. hurt. Sorry it's taking so long to do chapter one, i've been working on some other stuff but i'll try to get it to you soon! :D

    Awww, great chapter! :) I liked how Snape went and visite dthe Grangers'. He's in character. The cat, Midnight, was a nice touch. I like that Snape's going to be staying with Harry for awhile. :)

    “If you ever dare stick your tongue at me when I am not looking again Potter, you will find it in a jar on one of my shelves. Understood?”  “I am so sorry Sir if this offended you. I promise that from now on I will make sure to do it when you are looking.” LOL! I enjoyed this chapter. :) I liked how Snape gave Dudley a diet sheet and then took Harry out shoping. I feel that Snape has a little too much power over the Dursley's. I'm glad that Harry is having fun with this ta least.

    Awww, such sweet parts in this chapter. Loved the fluff! :) And Harry's little rebellious streak is charming and gets him in so much trouble. *evil grin*. Poor Harry. The letters with Hermione was a cute part.

    Ah, love it so far! He knew he wouldn't really need them; in the end, it would just be him and Voldemort, no one else. That seemed a little off, stating it differently would probably make it more in character. I love the premise, hehe i always love sick Harry scenes. You need to write in somewhere before he's portkeyed away what position he's in though, or add some position movement somewhere because it seemed as if he was lying down on his bed, and then somehow he ended upright and onto his knees. Having one of the order members sit him up in his bed and move his legs to rest on the floor would be enough, or have him land on his bum. XD I really liked how Remus and Tonks arrived together as a team. I like how Harry protested about going to Hogwarts and being at Hogwarts. Everyone seems very in character. As "Lupin" advanced on his, him. As a person who has had many ankle injuries, I found that the decriptions of Harry's injury could have used a little work, but it was good. it got it across right. Your descriptions of his illness and fainting is nicely done. I liked the use of a "stranger".

    Nice second chapter. :) i have a feeling that the stranger in black who rescued him is Snape and that he's the one supplying the antidote. I liked how you had it seem as if someone in the hospital were in on it without really spelling it out and unmasking them. More realistic that way.i can't wait until Snape comes into the scene. :) I guess that it will be a long, hard recovery for Harry. I like how driven he seems, that he wants to continue his quest to be able to defeat Voldemort. And the way he always says "m'okay" is so in character and a nice touch. :) I'm liking the story so far. You need to repost this chapter though, your formatting isn't skipping lines and everything's in one big block of text. :\
