- (I originally reviewed this about 2am on Halloween, before going to bed. I'm just now realizing that the review didn't post for some weird reason... I'll try again. ;-) !!!) *review begins* This is a great twist on the canon material! All of the characters are wonderfully in character throughout! You could really use this as a stepping stone to a multi-chaptered fic in the future, building on the storyline that you've established here. Nice job!!!

- Really, really cute! Both of them are SO in character, given their canon backgrounds. I hope you'll consider a sequel at some point, because I'd love to see how their relationship develops after the first night!

Thank you so, so much! I am so relieved you think I kept them both in character, I struggle with that sometimes. Or I focus on the stereotypes of the character and don't give them a well-rounded personality with many levels. Mind you, the latter is quite difficult to convey in a one-shot. I'm definitely considering a sequel after everyone's lovely reviews. Now, I just have to do a bit of planning for it...

- "Eric"!!! I absolutely lost it when Sev saw those labels! I'd assumed Jamie had given Eric some "busy work" to keep the younger boy out of the Marauder's hair by telling him to write his name! I didn't realize Jamie actually intended to USE the labels! Oh, MAN!!! "Eric" -- I'm still laughing! Over the incongruous aspect, not the prank itself -- but that's as bad as the dumb crook who got caught because he dropped his library card at the scene of the crime! Did Jamie somehow hope to pin the entire prank on poor little Eric? Oh dear...

- Oooh-- that was shockingly sad... In spite of the title, the unicorn appeared unexpectedly, surprising me as much as it did Snape. I can understand his decision, but I'm also left wondering what their fates will be. Any chance this is the prologue to a longer story? (Just thought I'd ask!)

Good--I'm glad to hear that the unicorn came as a surprise! I was hoping it would and that the title wouldn't give it away! While I'm not planning on making this a longer story (though I think it would make an excellent longer story), I have been thinking about writing a sequel because so many things are left unanswered. - You. Let. Him. FALL. Aaaaaaaaaaaggghhhhhhhh!!!!! I know you said you'd hurt Harry, but I DIDN'T expect THAT! I thought surely Snape would save him in mid-air or something... Geeeeeeee. Now I'm waiting to see how his relationship with Snape plays out; will the git have an attack of the guilties?! Meanwhile, Ron got exactly what he deserved. Or even LESS! I loved that Harry just walked past, leaving him stuck to the cold stone floor!

- Wow! Talk about a cliffie! I just reread the entire story, since it had been so long. (I get the feeling I might-- SOMEHOW-- have missed the previous update!) Anyway, well done, autumn! This chap is chock full of plots, and I can't wait to see where they'll all lead. From the mysterious men at the beginning to the Marauders Map to Snape being Harry's father-- oh, boy! Not to mention Harry's therapy; I'm trying to envision getting around Hogwarts (staircases) in a wheelchair. Of course, if Dumbledore puts in a lift, I suspect the old geezer will enjoy playing around with it, second only to his passion for sherbet lemons! Hee! But it was wonderful to see Harry able to laugh while he was reading-- possibly about Peter-the-cat?! Thanks for the update! :-)
