About me:

I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter!

Severus Snape is my hero and favorite character by far. I have never forgiven J.K. for killing him off. I love to see him as a father figure to Harry. (Who needs James Potter? Not me!)

There are few pairings that I won't read about, but for some reason I cannot abide Ginny Weasley, unless she is a villian. I like her that way. Though that doesn't mean that I won't read fics with her as the love interest, it's just not my preference. Truth is that I adore reading and my tastes are rather eclectic, so bring on the stories, because I'm ready to review!

I have just started my first attempt at a Harry Potter fanfic and I hope that everyone will enjoy it. I welcome all constructive critism and any advice given will be noted.

Title: Chapter 66: Chapter 66 – Consequences 13 Feb 2010

It's good that Harry and Severus were able to come up with an agreement as to the bet. I'm not surprised that Harry did his best to argue his point and that Severus buckled slightly under the pressure.

I know that it is difficult for any child to focus on their health when they are having fun, but I hope that Harry will try. It's unfortunate that he had to pay for his fun with pain, but hopefully it gave him motivation to be more careful in the future.

Harry couldn't help but be curious, I know, but he should really have been more careful when choosing a prop to hide his interest. xD At least, Severus didn't make him FINISH the book.

While I can see Narcissa's point, I can also see why people would find her marrying so soon after her husband's death strange. Society has certain rules that most people try to abide by and one of those is a mourning period of at least a year. It's considered disrespectful to the one who died to date or marry until after this time is observed. This is the reason that people are looking askance at these nuptials.

I do hope that Draco will decided to go to the Weasley's home. I'm sure that once he gets to know them that he will find that they are an excellent group to be around.

    Great chapter!

Title: Chapter 68: Chapter 68 – Thoughts about Christmas 02 Mar 2010

Poor Harry, he is so scared that he will mess something up on Christmas. He is still emotionally fragile in so many ways and it will take a great deal of time for him to relax enough to really enjoy himself in family matters. I just wish that he was better able to verbalize his fears to his parents. I wonder if Poppy and Alastair will tell them about the things he spoke to them about?

    Great chapter!

I wish that Harry could just relax and realize that he couldn't possibly mess up their Chrismas festivities simply because he is unsure as to what to do. No one would make fun of him for not understanding everything when they all know he has never experienced the type of family Christmas that they are used to. I hope that he won't work himself up too much.

    Great chapter!

Title: Chapter 70: Chapter 70 – The Christmas Tree 11 Mar 2010

The tree-picking 'ceremony' was fun and I know that Harry was very moved by his personal ornament. It made him feel that much more a part of the Snape/Dumbledore family.

Wedding attire was designed by a sadist, I believe. Terribly uncomfortable, but at least you don't have to wear it all that often and usually it looks very nice (bridesmaids are sometimes not so lucky). I'm sure that Harry and Severus look very handsome.

    Great chapter!

Title: Chapter 71: Chapter 71 – Trouble with little Brothers 16 Mar 2010

While I'm aware that the twins are a lot younger than Harry, sometimes I think that Severus and Ivy expect him to be more mature than is normal for a thirteen year old. His anger at the behavior of the twins was normal as was how he acted. Ivy shouldn't have forced the boys to all wear ties...or should have used clip ons instead of real ones. Due to Harry's description of how it felt, I think that the ties were on too tight, so perhaps they should have been allowed to loosen them.

    Great chapter!

    Author's Response:

Yes, sometimes parents are not nice and reasonable! They are human! :)

Title: Chapter 72: Chapter 72 – Santa Claus One 21 Mar 2010

I hope that all of Harry's fears about the Christmas celebration are gone now. He needn't worry about his gift to the twins; I know that they will love it. It might well end up being their favorite.

The gift that Harry received was amazing. I wonder what rules he will have to follow in order to utilize it?

    Great chapter!

    Author's Response:

You will learn about the rules soon!

I'm rather sad that Severus jumped to the conclusion that Harry was trying to buy his families love. Money means very little to Harry and I really think that he saw the hippogriff and thought that the twins would like it. I do wish that they had waited to ask him about it until later as it lessoned his enjoyment of the day.

    Great chapter!

Title: Chapter 74: Chapter 74 – Dumbledore's Mansion 26 Mar 2010

I have a feeling that Roan will be key in helping Harry cope with his issues. That Roan is an older horse is a good thing; he has the wisdom and patience to be what Harry needs and because a horse like Farruk would terrify him. The family's trip to the Dumbledore Mansion has been interesting so far. I wonder what will happen next?

    Great chapter!

Title: Chapter 75: Chapter 75 – Fear of a Mother 29 Mar 2010

I think that Harry isn't the only one that needs counseling in the family. It might be a good idea to have family sessions. I hope that Harry won't ever be denied the right to see Roan. It would be cruel of Ivy and Severus to do so.

Author's Response: Thank you very much for your review!
