    Just to be clear. I do think that you portrayed her in the right way. I think she is little overbearing and irritating in the canon as well, and I don't like her very much. Molly in my fanfiction is kind of the same. And well you can't have all characters in your Fic sickingly sweet coz it would be boring. So she irritates me and if I rant at her behaviour again. It will mean I don't like her and she irritates me, but I don't want her any other way... Well I don't know if it makes senseXD

    Author's Response: It does make sense, that’s kind of how I feel about it! Like I think there was something in the first chapter I wrote her saying and every time I read over it I roll my eyes, but I kept it in because it just felt true to her character somehow? And I do like her but she can be overbearing and all that so I think that I have kept her in character better than others but well, if I didn’t change Snape’s canon personality a bit then it would be no fun :P thank you for the support!!! <3

Set at the start of book five. The ever-busy Dumbledore is a little delayed in sending that howler to Petunia, and so when Vernon insists that Harry needs to leave the house as he's clearly a danger to the family, Harry is packed and down the road with no protest, causing the blood wards to break. The Dursleys instantly become a vulnerable target for Death Eaters, and Harry himself is snatched by a Death Eater, but it's Severus Snape and this is coming from a Severitus writer so you've likely already figured out where all of this is going.
