- Your story is interesting, twisted, and rather AU, but I like it. It's like watching the new "Alice in Wonderland;" you know it's a good movie, with plot twists and underlying meanings, but it confuses the hell out of you some of the time.
When Death is thwarted and doesn't know why, it's never what one would consider a typical thing. The fact that Death isn't all that pleased about being out of the loop doesn't help much either.

- I don't usually read stories until they are over 40,000 words, but I decided to be adventurous today and it paid off. I love how your story starts out and cannot wait to read more. I particularly like the quote for the tombstone. Who said it?
Author's Response: The quote is by the Roman Philosopher Seneca from the first century A.D. I don't personally know a lot about his life, but he lived in a very interesting time period and I've always loved the quote. Thanks for reading and for taking chance of this story. I've completed the story and will try to publish a chapter every other day. It's more than 80,000 words (17 chapters) and should meet your length criteria! --SS
