About me:

I'm a 20-year-old university student with a tendency to procrastinate and a love for chocolate. I am, also, dreaming of one day being a writer, like so many. At the moment that is mostly hindered by my aforementioned tendency to procrastinate ^^.

You might have noticed, but at the moment I only have one story up on this archive. It was written years ago, and to be quite honest I don't know how I feel about it anymore – my writing has changed a bit in that time. I recently edited it again, so feel free to check it out :).

I am also not a native speaker of English, but since my major at uni IS English it shouldn't be too noticeable. If it is and you catch any mistakes in anything I've written or posted, please tell me.

Also: I'm currently looking for a beta for a Snape-mentors-Harry story set in fifth year that I'm writing at the moment. Please contact me if you'd like to have a go and look at it, I promise I'm nice ;)

Liked it, short, but sweet. I would have loved a little more Snape-Harry moments, or maybe a moment of bonding or something, but nevertheless I enjoyed it :)

“The champions' families are invited to watch the final task, you know.” - Professor McGonagall, GoF Page 534. What happens when the Dursley’s come to watch the last task in the Triwizard Tournament, and how will Severus Snape deal with the fallout?

I really liked it, please continue writing this :) Can't wait to know what happens next.

Being sent to stay in a psychiatric ward at St. Mungo’s isn’t exactly the most enjoyable way to spend a summer, so naturally, Harry’s pretty angry when he finds out that’s his destination, regardless of whether or not it might be good for him. Facing a full summer of being cut off from the Order’s plans, Harry’s even taken to envying Snape, because at least Snape knows what is going on. But when Harry arrives at St. Mungo’s and discovers that a fire has changed his destination from the teen ward to the adult ward, everything is turned upside down. Enter his roommate - suicidal, depressed, and none other than Severus Snape. They are both willing to bet that their summer will be a total disaster, and maybe it will be, but even the surest of gamblers are not always right.

this chapter is the most amazing thing omg i'm cackling xD even as i type this i'm bursting out into random bouts of laughter, Snape's behaviour is just the best thing xD This part totally killed me:

"That was the worst example of guardianship I have ever seen," Dumbledore said sharply, picking up his newspaper.

"Well, Petunia's always been -" began Snape.

To Harry's amazement, Dumbledore hit Snape over the back of the head with the paper. "By you, you overgrown teenager."

    Snape spluttered.

"Boots on the table, really?" Dumbledore continued, exasperated. "You had best grow up before next summer. Harry needs a proper example."

    it's absolutely beautiful xD

*wipes tears* this was beautiful from start to finish, such a wonderful and emotional ride! I loved both the story you wrote and the way you wrote it, I adore your writing style and I hope that your work on your original novel is going well! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule and your other projects, even if it was hard for you to keep with it. As someone who knows a lot of people who have seen/are seeing therapists, have been to a psychiatric hospital or are struggling all on their own and as someone who has their own issues that i'm slowly working out with a therapist, this fic resonated a lot with me in a good way. It was all the things i love about severitus, touching and a bit dark, sad but hopeful, with spots of laughter and a lot of love weaved in throughout, and I'll definitely be back to reread it. A lot of the lines in it inspired me, and I feel better about myself after reading it (sorry for the mushy review, it's all your fault, you made me emotional ^^). So thank you, and good job!!

Author's Response: Oh wow, Kiromenanz, thank you for this review. Your words touched *my* heart. I'm so pleased you found this story enjoyable, as I needed it to be realistic for those who have seen mental health difficulties first hand either in their own lives or in those of friends. I'm so glad you have found it inspiring. It was so terribly difficult for me to write! And yes, my novel is still going albeit very slowly. It's been a difficult year so I'm not at the point I wanted to be. Your words are encouraging! So thank you!!

Harry has a little problem, followed by a little freak out, and compounded by a confusing conversation with the Sorting Hat, who has special things in mind for him and Professor Snape. A (sort of) Christmas story as a lot of it revolves around Harry's wish for a good Christmas. [About the selected warnings] most of those were just to be safe. The Dursley's and their abuse is hardly mentioned, the corporal punishment is for the way the other students treat Harry (as well as the violence warning), and the limited use of profanity is mild.

Damn it you, this story made me bawl like a baby. Really amazing, loved it.

“Snape was definitely up to something. He was sure of it. But he could not figure out what. The signs were all there, but he had no evidence. He considered speaking to McGonagall about it, but it felt like his first year all over again. He knew that McGonagall trusted Snape, and without proof his suspicions would just be shot down.” A story written after the Final Battle in Harry’s final year at Hogwarts, canon except for Snape surviving (and possibly the Epilogue). Written for Mellow Moon’s Mysterious Potion challenge. Three-shot.

This is really intriguing! Poor Harry though :(. But you've made the transition really well, from something he could reasonably have seen to something that (as I assume now) must be in his mind - until the very end, I was almost convinced that Harry's view of things wasn't that far off, especially the whispers seemed really realistic, but in retrospect I realize where his view of things might have exaggerated the things that are actually there. I'm so excited, on to the next chapter, let's find out what's up with him!
