Response to the Potions and Snitches.net Fic Fest Challenge # 5 by Bil. Although I’m not sure it is completely compliant. I tried though.
Harry gets up one morning and begins to make breakfast (for the Dursleys, if that's where he is). Hearing a noise at the door he cautiously goes to investigate - to find a battered Snape collapsed on the front doorstep. What happened to Snape, why is he in Harry's neighborhood and what in Merlin's name is Harry going to do with him?

- wow... this is an amazing start, the bond and how you changed them are really well thought out. it's a shame it's stalled on you.

- i was beginning to wonder IF Horatius was gonna tell anyone about his animagus, i'm surprised you used it here. that he used it to protect Severus is a surprise, love that we almost got a tiny family moment before Sirius opened his trap.
still damn curious how Sirius's gonna take it... ^^

- man... i love that you had the balls to end it like this, but damn, this is the one of the best father/son relationships i've seen.
i still wish you hadn't. can't bring myself to read the rest of the saga yet.

- OMG!!! this is brilliant! i like how you basically flipped Tobias and Eileen's personas around - i never thought i'd see a bigger bitch than Bellatrix - and i love Tobias's naval background, it definitely explains Severus's strictness with the students and his house.
i love how the men handled the revelation and their new relationships, no one came across younger than they were at the time. even at 10 Sev and Harry made sense.
Sequel to Brothers and Fathers. Tobias, Severus, and Harry are at Hogwarts and school is in session. But nothing can ever be easy for the Snape family.

- aww man, i was hoping we'd get to see Tobias at the final battle with Voldemort, how he'd ract to Harry fighting the Dark Lord.
Harry has defeated Voldemort, but is badly injured. Can Severus help him find the will to live?
