Perception can be everything. After the incident with the Philosopher's Stone and Voldemort, Harry falls into a magical slumber and wakes months later on August 31st as an entirely different boy who is about to begin his first year at Hogwarts. Sorted into Slytherin as someone else, Harry experiences Hogwarts in an entirely new way. He realises that there is more to Slytherin than it appears, and even more to their Head of House as well. Before long, acting as someone else isn't nearly as hard as fighting the need to reverse it, or at least find out what happened to “Harry Potter”.

    Beautiful, simply beautiful. Very lovely message as well. I would say that the flow of the short felt a little rushed in some cases, like Harry coming to terms a bit with the fact that he was priceless, but all in all, it was a lovely little short. :3

    So, how many times is this now that I just wanna grab that man and shake him so hard that his brain rattles into the correct position? 10th maybe? Perhaps I'm exaggerating, haha. Lovely story, bytheway. Enjoying it very much so. Dear Severus, though, needs a good swift kick to the pants. But, oh my gosh, I loved the statement that his bark is worse than his bite. That was so adorable. I hope Sev will start to come to his senses soon. I bet something scary will happen and he'll think to have that special heart failure reserved for parents for his first born. Haha! Keep up the excellent work!

    I love this chapter. Never have I seen such a perfect, awkward, yet healing moment between Snape and Sirius. This was brilliant.

    Also, I'd venture to say that all fanfiction is OOC since those authors aren't the author. Much of the time, I find that FF authors explore characters far better than the original. :3

    Still, I thought this was a well done chapter and I can just imagine Snape being rigid in his seat while getting drunk with Sirius. Too funny a picture. ^^

    So, at the beginning of this story, I was going crazy because of all the sad feels. It reminded me why I hate canon. XD I hate that so many people died that I couldn't even bring myself to read the 7th book. However, I really do love your story. It's been a lovely build and extremely realistic. I always found it odd that Harry didn't come away with more emotional scars from all the experiences that he faced. I hope you continue to write! I hope that Sev will allow himself to get closer to Harry.

It was sort of what inspired the story, and then I had to figure out a believable plotline to make things end where they did!
