A delighted and not so gentle reader
Harry finds himself having to unravel a mystery across time when he is forced to spend the summer with his Potions Master and Snape's estranged family. Who is the boy Harry keeps meeting at unexpected moments and why is it that Snape suddenly starts to develop some slightly more human qualities as the two slowly come to understand one another?

Dude, I'm reviewing and you're not updating.
I really like the geography, the plot twists, the mysteries of time clashing together and the unwilling concern our two 'best mates' are unfolding for each other.
The only good thing about this horrendous epidemic is that the self-isolating some of us can choose to do, -in order to release the pressure on our brave nurses, and doctors and Unbuilt hospital beds, -is that it gives us time to be with our family and perhaps?
write a little more and read a lot more fanfics. Hint?

Author's Response: I am still here! I do want to complete this story, and intend on updating when I am able to do so. Life has been a little busy, but, as you say, in this strange and terrible time, what better distraction can there be than a little bit of escapism through writing. I am already halfway through the next chapter!

- I say, Severus Rooster really does live in drama. Can't even sunbathe without being jumped on by mini-torturers and 'tattooed' by a sour owl.
Hermy ( -Thanks, Caeria and 'Pet Project') -doesn't relax me either. Harry shows his true gentle nature, and they do need this chat on the dorm duvet.
Will Severus change 'his plumage' about Harry? I hope so. He should. Severus needs a break and a true friend just as much as Harry- Sirius is too immature. Correct, yay for Ron's common sense -( FriendlyQuarks 'A Terrible Temptation' shows Sev change to a teen and Ron being a real friend. It is on the The WIKTT Archives)
I adore this story and wish for many, Many chapters. I keep remembering the rooster 'Foghorn Leghorn' from Merrie Melodies. Sev is more quiet,witty. dignified and dangerous. A colourful plot. BRAVO.

- I agree with other the other reviews. this is brilliantly written and imagined. Thank you for all the looking in a dictionary and translating latin. Yes, you really need a Beta; just to change the glaring tenses and half finished sentences, not your wonderful style. You have caught Luna in flights of fancy and Snape in wit. I wish you would give us more of the quotes from the H.B.Prince.
I felt sadness when he wept, in his recognising the son in the mother's sound. Dear Snape. Loved his swift defense of Harry in the class. and his attentiveness to his pupils.
I wish you hadn't burned the H.B. Prince's book from year six -
all those quotes gone up in smoke.

I have a beta (thanks to the lovely people in this site), and from now on I hope that I'll manage to exceed the limit that my grammar mistakes placed before me :P. You certainly will receive more quotes of HBP. I'm planning to merge them in the plot, but I think I'll even post another fic which is dedicated just for them, perhaps including Severus & Lily flashbacks. Alan Rickman was a good man, but at least we can take comfort that he doesn't need to fight CoViD. There are worst fates than death.

You have a large chunk of text missing between Harry and Mr. Patel in the kitchen and, then, a scene break, making it difficult to understand. Where did Snape come from?
What are they talking about? Explanation, please.
