In the second paragraph the correct spelling is 'leper' not 'lepper '. Cheers! Harry finds help in the most unlikely of places. Severus mentors Harry story. It begins the summer after the Tri-Wizard Tournament. Please take the time to read and review. :)

[COMPLETE] After Harry blows up Aunt Marge and catches the Knight Bus to Diagonalley, he decides to take charge of his life when he learns he’s being sent back to Four Privet Drive. Harry spends the summer turning life in Diagonalley on its head, trying not to worry about the murderer Sirius Black, and attempting to avoid Severus Snape. In the midst of this he finds himself embroiled in an intense legal battle against Albus Dumbledore to decide his future. For the first time his fate rests solely in his own hands, and depend on the decisions he finds himself being forced to make. Harry wishes he could just be a thirteen year old boy, and begins to wonder if he’ll ever have the childhood he desires the most. Some of the warnings listed just as a precaution for things mentioned or alluded to.

Thank you for another splendid chapter. Happy New year!! Author's Response: Thanks for your review. It's still all really about Harry. In the beginning Harry was very much inside his own head with his own situation, but through his determination to make a better life for himself he's coming to discover that he's not the only person in need or in trouble. During his time on Diagonalley he's learning for the first time in his life that the world is bigger than himself and his problems and his eyes are being opened to what's going on around him. That's not to say that his issues aren't signifigant, they are. But there comes a time in every persons life (hopefully) where they gain the ability to look outside of their lives and realize that the world is more than just their own story and their own issues. With these realizations Harry is also learning that he has the ability to effect change not only in his own life but in the lives of others, and in a positive way. Glad you left a review. I like hearing what others think :)
Author's Response: Aww, thanks! Too much angst is too hard on the readers (and characters), so there has to be some fluff to smooth it all over between bouts of angst :)
Just one small correction, I hope you don't mind. You've spelled quiet as quite (when harry has just entered the courtroom) Author's Response: Fixed the spelling error. Thanks. |
