- i just love this fic. please i know it has been ages since you had updated, i really need a sequel! i need to know what happened after voldemort fell and this drabble just broke my heart and the worst part is that i want more, i would be over the moons if you updated here or at least on fanfiction.net.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the kind review! As you said, it has been a while, and I've posted shorter stories that continue What's Owed, thinking that would be satisfactory (for me and for readers). But I realized that I needed something more than a series of drabbles; I needed to flesh out the those shorter bits and write a sequel, so that's what I've been doing--a little haphazardly, I must say, but I have been working on a sequel. I can't say when I'll be satisfied enough to post what I have, but I haven't given up on it. Thanks again for review!
In the summer before his sixth year, Harry ventures outside the blood wards and is abducted by Death Eaters. After three weeks of torture in Voldemort's secret headquarters, he is rescued by the Order, but when he wakes up in the hospital wing, he is no longer the same boy. Will an unlikely connection with his draconian Potions Professor help him overcome his demons?

- Wow. Overwhelming chapter... Huff! I loved it though, definitely worths the wait... I'm really glad that Harry seems to forgive himself first, forgive himself for the death of his loved ones, before relating it to Snape, seeing as they're not much different at all. I'm not going to lie, your fanfic was one of the best I've read. And I can't wait for your new stories.

One of the best you're read? Really? OMG! You are too kind! It still needs a lot of editing work and improving, but I'm really happy you like it as it is! I think I'll start writing a girlHarry one-shot soon...I've had this idea for a while and I'll give it a try.

- OH GOD! I cannot believe I missed the epilogue! I kept wondering why Merope isn't updating, and I kept checking the recent uploads frequently enough that I thought I was going mad! Totally found it by accident ( wanted to reread the story.)
Anyways...nice touch with the homesickness thing. I often get angry when authors ignore the homesickness shortly after Harry gets adopted. I may not know much about abused or traumatized children, but I do know for a fact that they are mostly insecure about their new homes or have abandonment issues with their guardians.
Nice ending though, I loved the last touch, and I totally agree with Harry about carpeting the dungeons. It must be cold down there! I'm waiting for your new works merope!
I just wish, I'd be able to upload mine, but I can't ( something is wrong with my account I think) ....
And I'm really honored that you feel happy or excited when you receive my reviews too! I'm just as excited when I receive yours!

- Once again, I'm amazed! This chapter was simply magnificent, very well written and the voc. Was really complimentary , I actually cried when Harry started switching Severus with Sirius and Vernon. It's simply disturbing to see ( read ) how much Harry is effected by that snake face.

Aw thank you! I am really thrilled you are enjoying it! I've started writing chapter five, so it should hopefully not be too long until I post it. I feel like I designed this story to be short. Next chapter should conclude the narrative quite nicely and if I continue beyond that (except perhaps an epilogue), it will not be as good. I may, however, write a sequel. :)

- I don't know what you were worried about Alicia, this is great! I loved it and I agree, you should definitely continue this once the challenge is over. I loved Snape's portrayal in this, and Samson was just precious.
