    I am breathtaken. That has to be one of the sweetest little one-shots I have ever read. I nearly cried. Honestly, words can't do it justice!

    Aww, Severus gets to look after Harry after all :) Lucky Harry!

    I *loved* the sprites, a wonderful addition. Like a fairy tale. And the flashbacks were perfectly placed, adding just the right touch to the story :)

    10/10!

    Yes, that's exactly what I was aiming for here, and the sprites were something that were improvisation, my original idea didn't have them, but while I was writing they came and demanded to be put in there.  And some people say the story characters are silent! Ha! Mine scream and speak to me frequently, telling me things I never knew about them, and usually I end up putting those bits and pieces in and it makes my plot lines so much better! Has that ever happened to you?

    And Sev and Harry will be happy together, as Lily intended when she made Sev promise to take care of him! I just love happy endings!:)

Early mornings for most people are a time for sleeping; a time for dreaming. Early mornings are not a time for teaching your hated potions professor how to make scrambled eggs. Then again, when said potions professor, with his greasy hair and complete ‘freakishness’, practically tortures your evil guardians (for lack of a better term) just by being there, it might actually be worth it.

    Wow. This is a fantastic story that had me in tears. It's wonderful, and I rushed to read the sequel, but it doesn't seem to be posted--are you still working on it? Or will there not be one after all?

When Harry Potter finds his life in a mess and can't cope with the guilt, he goes back to the Forbidden Forest to look for the stone he had left there the last time he came. A most unexpected man forms in front of him-and Harry doesn't know why because he hadn't meant to summon him at all. Worries are shared, as two people who used to hate each other are forced to talk...civilly.

    I'm enjoying this. Poor Harry. It's definitely an interesting premise. My only criticism would be the long explanation of slavery history. It's really, really, really complicated, I couldn't follow it.

    My advice is, when something takes that many paragraphs to explain, it would be worth simplifying it, and maybe break the information up a bit--like for example, have Albus give them a basic overview/the bottom line first, and further details could come up in conversation later.

    That said, I think it's a good start, and I look forward to reading more.

    Author's Response: Thank you for the review. I have to admit, I almost brought myself to tears whilst writing it - which would have been awkward, as I was in a public library at the time! Just a shame there was a reason to write it at all :'(
