Summer fic fest. At one point, early in their life, every wizard needs to submit to surgery. The summer after his first year at Hogwarts, it is the turn of Harry Potter to do so. It’s supposed to be a trifle, but what is ordinary about the Boy-who-lived? Complications will arise. Ghosts from the past will appear and secrets people thought buried for ever are revealed. The question is, in the middle of this ordeal, will Severus Snape at long last find something meaningful to do with his life?

- This is an interesting take on Vernon. The first chapter of the series is from his pov, and he seemed pretty reasonable. I’ve always wondered what made him behave that way towards Harry.
When Severus Snape dies during the Battle of Hogwarts, he doesn't expect to end up in his own body, 7 years before, at the exact moment he first met Harry Potter.
This time around, Severus resolves to keep his promise to Lily. He promises himself that he’ll keep Harry safe from Death Eaters, Dark Lords, and meddlesome old fools. But what will happen when Snape learns there are monsters greater than Voldemort in Harry’s life? What happens when Severus realizes that what Harry needs, more than anything, is a family?

- This is a very interesting start! I hope you come back to it someday.
Due to the Dursley's being 'preoccupied' for the summers, Dumbledore arranges for Harry to be sent to a summer camp. Little does he know that a particular Potions Master will be there as well. Suspicions are confirmed, however, when Snape begins prowling around the boy, discoveries he'd never thought possible unravelling. Set in the summer after Second Year, Severitus/Sevitus.
