    Once more - the sheer amount of information and plot you are able to convey in individual chapters is absolutely astonishing! The characters backstories are given but do not seem blatantly forced regardless of the fact that they are directly told.

    I'm quite impressed so far and really enjoying Harry at his Slytherin finest.

    And THANK YOU for at least hints of Remus/Severus. It's one of my absolute favourite pairings that doesn't seem to get nearly enough love!!

    Thank you! I put a lot of thought into distributing revelations and working them into natural interactions. I think that letting conversations end with matters still unresolved and details still untold helps keep them from appearing contrived.

    The Remus/Severus backstory continues to be a factor....

    Ooh, this is getting very interesting. I loved that line that Harry threw at Severus, about "Where do you think Remus thinks I sleep?"

    Ooh, I love this twisted plot, with Remus misinterpreting Harry and Severus' relationship, and Severus' feelings of mistrust towards Remus. Love it!

    Ooh, on to the next chappie.

    I know that I sound like a broken record (or, I suppose CD these days.) but I'm pleased as punch that you've posted here!!

    And Harry thought his life was complicated!!! The backstory certainly gives canon events a new and convincing spin. I couldn't help but smile when Harry suggested that if they tried they might find a second flaw in Remus but ten minutes would not be enough time for them to list each others flaws!! Your Harry is very perceptive about things!

    Weaving this highly unlikely scenario in with then-canon was one of the things that inspired me to take the challenge. Another was that I wanted to have Sirius dying cause Harry -- eventually -- to become more mature. (When HBP finally came out, I was really disappointed with how it glossed over the effects of the battle in the Ministry.)
