This story is brilliant and funny. I’ve re-read it countless times, and am back again for another read through. The only way I know of to show my love as a reader is to leave reviews, so apologies in advance for inundating your inbox with review notifications!
This is an absolutely brilliant story. I’ve read it countless times and it never ceases to amaze me.
This was a mind-blowing read start to finish! I absolutely love your character arcs and the way you kept the pace steady throughout.
I LOVE how you portray Harry. Him being sharp and educated. A little adult, capable of handling and fighting other adults...until He's not and he's just a kid, no matter how hard he tries.
MILD. Like, SUPER mild.
“I just figured you'd belt me a couple times, sir.” Said Harry, shrugging nonchalantly.
OmGoodness Harry, getting belted is not mild in any sense of the word.
Harry's commentary is gold and I can sense that all that sass is not going to go to waste.
This is simply an absolutely fantastic story. I loved your characterization of a scrappy, misbehaving, self-reliant Harry. Severus’s patience with Harry is profoundly moving. This was so funny, and moving, and different. I just loved it.
I really went and created an account, after telling myself I wouldn't no matter how good the writing was, just for this fic, and more specifically, just for this reaction to "the end": AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Anyway, thank you for your lovely ideas and for the well-done execution of them. Also, Harry is so different from cannon, but there's something so recognizably 'Harry' about him Which can be said for a lot of characters here now that I think about it Also, when Hermione said she needed to pretend and sent Blaise to tell Snape about Quirrell my brain just !!! Also, Also, I will never run out of 'Also's, so just: wow. I hope you never stop writing. In whatever form you like.
So wonderful to read this again.
