It sounds as if you are very busy and I expect this term will be just as bad, hold on there things will get better! I am so pleased you updated your wonderful story. I think the relationship between the two is very angst and realistic, I dislike stories where he instantly becomes soft and mushy. The tension is very well done with the dark forbidding Voldemort giving a gothic horror to it. Thank you so much

I love this chapter.
Kinda figured chaos would go down at the quidditch game, but did not expect the cursed bludger of death. Snape to the rescue! In the most dramatic way possible, of course. Which was fantastic.
But I also like the end where they are FINALLY having a real conversation. Loving that Ariel has a mental “Snape translation library”. That definitely made me laugh. The end is super intense too, definitely interested to see how Snape proves he actually cares. Hugs I’m guessing? Please tell me there will be hugs? (And not instead Dumbledore interrupting as revenge for Snape having his floo locked and closed....)

Ah that darkness is creepy. Definitely wondering what will happen at the game — if anything attacks Ariel while everyone’s distracted.
Also I really love that Ariel and Hermione are such great friends
Another great chapter! I love this story, you have such a poetic way of writing and the characters have depth. i literally cannot wait for the next chapter and for how the story is going to play out. Happy new year and please update soon.

This is wonderful and captivating. I could not stop once I began reading. I really love emotionally destructive Severus so much. I cannot even begin 5o describe how deeply your writing has made me feel throughout reading this.
I hope you are well. I also hope you plan to continue this wonderful work. But even if you don’t, thank you for writing and sharing this amazing piece. Definitely one of the better fics I have read recently.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for such a thoughtful review! I do plan on continuing, it's just so hard to find time to write these days!! Emotionally destructive Snape is SO fun to write, but it's even more fun to make him FEEL things, mwahaha!

Thank you so much for updating. I loved the scene in the office, it reminded me of book 5 but Severus was way more destructive, I wonder how many others have tried to destroy the office? The scene with the doe was lovely, I wonder how long it will take Ariel to connect the two events. Looking forward to the next instalment, please don’t stress yourself too much and stay safe at school
OH WOW!! First off, I hope all is well in school right now, it really is a scary time for teachers and students. I wish you all the best in teaching during these hard times. This chapter was amazing! Leading up to it I was unsure of how you were going to address the fact about what voldy would do if he knew about the relationship. I think a lot of stories leave that out, and keep it as a huge plot hole. Since he can’t publicly be her father and a spy for Dumbledore at the same time. I cannot wait for more of this story! I hope you write one for every year of hogwarts!!
