I want to shake Draco by his shoulders until he recognizes what he's in for with the Death Eaters. Poor stupid little boy. And poor Snape. He's in a frustrating position. I like that Snape reassured Harry that he wasn't unloading him on someone else.

I hate Umbridge, but that's hardly a surprise. I'm glad Harry felt comfortable teaching. I'm a sucker for Snape-Harry interactions and this one was great. Again we got to see Harry think of Snape as Village Snape. One day they will have to deal with that. Snape clearly had a reaction to Harry coming and calling him Dad. Very nicely written!
I'm glad see your update! I've missed this story! We understand about real life though- so if your updates are more sporadic that's okay. We'll be happy with whatever you get out to us. Umbridge is just awful. Taking wands away is nuts. Harry has to act. I look forward to seeing how they do the DA and how Harry will bring it up to Snape. These defense lessons are going to be interesting and intense.
