You had me hooked from the beginning.
Ahh, now your reasoning makes sense to me as well. Though I wonder if Severus still holds Voldemort's trust... well I'm sure I'll find out soon.
Though, I'd like to have read something about Harry's thoughts when he figured that Severus was meeting with Voldemort.
I really like how you write Severus. His manner of speaking is very incharacter, I think. Even though I really don't understand why Voldemort would like Severus teach Harry the Dark Arts, after all he wants to kill him and equipping his enemy with such skill would be rather stupid.
Again, sorry if I sound annoying, but that just in this moment, Tonks would insist on eating something, just so you have a way how they can find out that Harry had no food just seems really unbelievable. Tonks is an auror and the first thing she things of when they find Harry all left alone is food?
I think you wanted to create a situation where everyone realized how badly Harry was treated so they (especially Severus?) would want to take care of him. Which is good, but the situation could have been helped. Harry could have asked for help/told them what was going on right on the first day.
He's a 15 year old boy and that he would be stupid enough to starve himself, I can't believe. He would have at least told Ron or Hermione.
just my opinion
I must say that I find it rather unbelievable that Harry would not contact at least his friends that the Dursleys had left him alone. They already were sending him food in the years before afterall. To starve himself although he had a way of contacting them sounds really stupid and it doesn't make sense.
Whew! Great plot line so far
