Hey Y'all,

I'm Lizzie, a computer science college student who is slowly going insane with all of the schoolwork I have to do, but who loves Harry Potter with a passion.

My user name, just in case you are wondering is pronunced LAY-lee-Uh. I got the name from an old (by now) Star Wars book, and then modified it slightly. ;-}

My favorite character is probably Severus, followed closely by a "good" Draco.

I love Severus/Lily fics, young Harry and Sev fics (father and guardian) and creature fics.

Two of the best creature fics that I have found are Cub by Jadie which is about Sev and Harry being sphinx and is absolutely incredible.

The other story is Changes by SilverWolf7 which is about our favorite professor trying to guide his son as his son begins to become a vampire. This story badly needs a sequel, it is just too good. ;-}

One of my all-time favorite stories though has to be The Better Man by Laume. It asks the question of what would have happened if Sev hadn’t gone over to the Dark Lord’s side. And features many elements that I haven’t seen in other stories such as; good Dursleys, Harry and Dudley growing up as brothers, and a magic Dudley (okay, I have seen the last one before, but only in one other story).

I am mostly a lurker, but I love to write, it's just that I will get halfway through a story and get stuck. I also don't think that my stories are all that good; I may post one someday... I finally posted a story! It is Not Quite so Terrible, and I wrote it for Prompt Fest 2009. Please take a look at it and let me know what you think.

I have had several people ask me to continue Not Quite so Terrible, so I’m going to give it a shot and try to keep it going. If anyone has a scene or idea of something that they would like me to include in one of the chapters, please message me and let me know.

    Great chapter, I can't wait to see what happens next.

    Boy, are James and Lily in for a rude shock when they get to the Dursley's.

    I really hope that Severus and his family can ride out the rather black storm that I can see coming up on them.
    James doesn't seem like the type to just lay down without a fight, even when there is nothing left to fight.

    Author's Response: Thank you very much. They are in for a rude shock but don't simply assume that Severus is going to take any c*** without fighting back. I'm afraid that you will have to wait before we get a confrontation between the Potters and Severus though.

    Malfoy just stole Severus's cat!! I actually feel just a little bit sorry for Malfoy when Sev catches up with him.
    Nobody messes with Severus's cat. ;-}

    I love the story, very good job.
    I can't wait to find out what happens with Sev and Harry. I am wondering if this may turn into a Severus adopts Harry fic...
    However it turns out, I am eagerly anticipating the next chapter.

    Poor Severus, he is already beating himself up about that accident, and then Harry throws it right in his face.
    I hope that Severus and Harry can get through this and that Harry can see that Severus is only thinking of what would be best for his son.

    Author's Response: Thank you so much!  Oh, i do think Severus and Harry will get through it...though it may be a bumpy road here for a little bit.  And yes, Harry will come to see that Severus is thinking of what's best for him, but just not for a while still.  He is rather upset and unhappy right at the moment!

    Wow... That is all I can say about this story.
    I have read all of Lily's Charm, and every "mini-story" in this universe. Absolutely incredible.
    I have to tell you that I love this story, (I love all of these stories) and keep checking at least once a day to see if you have updated yet.
    And I have to tell you that you are going to kill one very loyal reader with all of this suspense.
    Now to the actual review. ;-}

    I loved how this chapter turned out!
    I can't wait to find out what Sev and Remus have up their sleeves. Are they going to try to bring Sirius back to life? I am looking forward to Sirius's reaction to finding out that Sev is Harry's father. Should be interesting. ;-}
    What happened between Remus and Tonks?! They were so happy together. Tonks was overjoyed that Remus Finally proposed, and Remus was just about jumping up and down earlier. but now Remus always seems sad. and that line that said (when) "Tonks had still wanted him". Did I miss something or was it not in there or am I just really dense?!

    LOL No, you didn't miss anything.  I just love to give snippets that don't tell the whole story.  Annoying, I know.  You'll learn about Remus and Tonks later.  Patience, dear grasshopper.  And I am so glad you found LC and are enjoying it so much.  :o)  I love to hear it!  And I know, my suspense is killer, but that's me.  I just love to leave you all begging for more.  More fun for me that way.  LOL  Oh yeah, you'll have to wait and see about Sirius as well.  ;o)

    Oh, you are going to kill me with all of these surprises, you know that don't you?
    What are Harry and Sirius going to do? I know that Harry wanted to talk or at least clear the air with Sirius, but it's one thing to want to do something and quite another to actually do it. Especially when you weren't expecting to have to do it for a long time. If that makes any sense. ;-}

    I loved how Harry now looks (at least a little bit) more like Sev.

    I really loved the whole "love potion bit". I always love seeing Severus being more paternal and parental about Harry. ;-}
    I loved Ginny's reaction to Sev finding out about the potion. ;-}

    The other part I liked was "Miriam the Autograph Witch". I was laughing so hard I was almost crying.

    Again, superb job. This is truly an incredible story.

    Sirius!!
    He may have not been able to think of the consequences of his actions, but he proved in the end that he loved Harry more then anything else in the world.

    I don't suppose that it is possible for someone to come back from the dead twice, is it?

    And poor Harry. Severus is going to have his work cut out for him in helping Harry through Sirius's death.

    As always, great great job on the chapter. I actually cried at the end.

    This has been one of the absolute best stories that I have ever had the privilege of reading! Honest to goodness, I was checking every day to see if you had updated yet. Never mind that this story has been on my favorites watch list since the first chapter. ;-}

    I love how you really brought the characters to life and helped them grow. I loved the bond that grew between Harry and Draco where they saw themselves as enemies, then friends, and then finally as brothers.

    Awesome story, and we definitely need a sequel!

    I loved writing Harry and Draco as brothers, though when the idea was first presented to me I was like . . .uh, can I do this? Is it possible to make such enemies into a family? I wasn't sure if I could do it right.  But I guess I did because everyone seems to love the way this turned out.  I've enjoyed living in the manor with Severus and harry and Draco.  I think I definitely should go back there. 

    But until then, there are my two new fics, Where Shadows Go and Arms of a Dark Angel.
