There once was a boy named Harry Potter
He once had a mother until Voldemort got her
Poor young Harry had a father once too
But old Voldie said: That will not do!
So one night he crept up to the house
Just as silent as a mouse
He opened the door with his great magic powers
But Mommy and Daddy were not ones to cower
His mother raced upstairs with steps that were long
She told dear Harry to be brave and strong
Both Mr and Mrs Potter faced their death that night
Although they fought with all their might
For in their hearts they always knew
That it was Harry that would eventually realize his cue
And beat the Dark Lord through and through
But he couldn't have done it without support
And that is exactly what his friends brought
With courage and might
They faced many fights
So with the help of these people
It makes it believable
That when the time is right
Harry could defeat the one that strayed far from the light
But there was one in particular that helped more than the rest
Who tried and tried yet did not stand out as the best
This was because of a great big lie
And not many knew that he was a spy
But those who did were loyal and true
But one asked asked him to do
Something that horrible that not many people could
Yet he did not not hide or draw up a hood
He instead did it out in the open
Most trusts now destroyed and broken
He didn't do it for jewels or a dime
But to stop a innocent boy from doing such a crime
Both boy and man had a destiny
Based on an old mans epiphany
That the world what be finally saved
From a fate that was oh so grave
Despite the similarities that man and boy showed
The doors to friendship and acceptance were always closed.
If only they had communicated with one another
They would have found out so much about each other
They could have been friends, alleys or family
These stories could have been reality
But in their universe it just was not
The world that Harry and Severus got
