Summary: Harry's nose has been broken so many times, it's begun to look like Snape's.

Summary: After a particularly awful Occlumency lesson, an enraged Harry hides in the Room of Requirement and, sick of how Snape has treated him for years, wishes the Potions Master had never been born at all.
The next morning, Harry wakes up in a world where the Room granted his wish.
Bonus Points/Ideas:
- Lily is alive.
- A Voldemort-controlled British WW.
- James having been tortured to death/insanity by Voldemort or one of his minions.
- Hogwarts being a safe haven to muggleborns.
[Report This] Summary:
NOTE: describe the raping with very little detail. [Report This] Summary: Everyone believes that Harry is rich. What happens when Harry discovers that his father or both his parents spent the Potter fortune funding the war against Voldemort? What will Harry do then?
BONUS POINTS - Harry's personal vault barely has enough money to cover the next school year. - Harry has to get a job [Report This] Summary: What if Harry discovered that Lily had done something even more horrible to Severus than his father ever had, but Severus blinded by his love never realized it? What is that she did? What will happen when Harry becomes determined to make amends for what both his parents, especially Lily had done?
[Report This] Summary: Harry uses a three times three spell and it backfires on him causing him to witness how other's actions (especially surrounding him. i.e.: being allowed to be on quidditch team first year, all the points at the end of first year) have affected the other houses. Emphasis for these affects must be felt by Slytherin house.
REQUIREMENTS - Harry must realize that he has been treated special at the cost of others - Severus either learns that Harry has had this experience or he is the one who causes Harry's spell to backfire - Harry develops a better relationship with students from other houses, particularly Slytherin and with Severus. [Report This] Summary: Creature!Harry has inherited Giant blood from somewhere in the family history. It manifests itself as he is growing up in the Dursley household and the muggles think he has Gigantism (think Robert Wadlow, who at age 10 was already 6'6" and grew to be over 8 ft).
Time frame: 1st year (or more, but I want to see Diagon Alley) Things to consider: *Where is he sorted? I sort of see Giant!Harry as a Hufflepuff, but you don't have to. Just give me some reasoning for whatever you choose. *Do people on the Alley mistake him as Hagrid's son? *Doorways *Beds - both at the Dursleys and Hogwarts (Do they pull out Hagrid's old bed?) *Desks *School supplies (Robes etc. Is there a shop that Hagrid shops at separate from everyone else on Diagon Alley?) *Do brooms even come that large? *Wand size? *Does Harry keep growing? How big does he get? Probably only from one side of the family, so he'd grow like a half-giant (still big!). Re: Snape - I'd like to see him as an ally of some sort. [Report This] Summary: Write a story centered around Harry being very bad at Hogwarts. Some of us have written of this to some extent, but I want to see a story centered around this as the main issue.
What would they do to Harry if he was just continually bad and defiant (as bad as Severus thinks he is). Would they kick Harry out, or keep him there because he is destined to defeat the Dark Lord? Ideas- Evil Harry Angry Harry Defiant typical teenager Harry Bad to the bone Harry Hurt/Comfort Something bad happened to Harry Harry has found out the truth about something Really anything goes here but it must center around Harry being seriously naughty at school (for whatever reason) and what's done about it. Also, does he get better or worse? [Report This] Summary: In canon, Snape's best friend (and first love) had been Lily and his nemesis and main persecutor had been James. But what if things had been different? What if Severus' best friend had not been Lily, but James? How would this vital difference effect not only Severus himself, but how he responds to James' son?
~ James and Severus must have been close throughout much of their education, regardless of other friendships/associations ~ Severus' relationship with Lily is up to you, but he must have known James first and have been closer to him ~ BONUS if Lily played the role of Snape's antagonist ~ BONUS if the story is longer than six chapters [Report This] |
