Summary: It is discovered that Harry is the son of Severus Snape and another death eater. How he came to be with the Potters is up to you. Harry must be in either six or seventh year. His mother must be from a family mentioned in the books. Must be at least five chapters long.

What if the night the Potters died, Harry was found elsewhere in Godric's Hollow and it was assumed that Harry survived only because Voldemort didn't get to him due to the interference of Lily Potter and the scar was caused by injuries in the destruction? How would the Potions Master of Hogwarts deal with a Harry Potter who was nothing like he expected, quiet and shy especially when he's sorted into his house and it becomes evident that something is wrong with the boy?

What if Harry didn't handle the events following the Triwizard Tournament as well as he did in the books or as calmly? What would happen if he could no longer keep the facade of bravery and stoicism as he did following the confession by Barty Crouch and broke down when he thought he was alone and Snape came across him in this state?
Can be played with as you like and be as a one-shot or multi-chapter story. How things play out is up to you but the story must fit the parameters of the definition and come into play. Can take place after incident in Hospital Wing, Croch's confession, PostGOF or PreOOTP
Summary: Snape left on a sabbatical the year Harry starts at Hogwarts. In turn, Harry ends up sorted in a House that is not Gryffindor.
What reaction would Harry's sorting have on the rest of the school? Would the Gryffindors feel spurned? The Slytherins justified in bullying a 'weak Hufflepuff'? What would the reactions be if Harry ended up in Ravenclaw or Slytherin? But, most important of all, what impact would a different sorting of Harry have on Snape, and how would their relationship develop because of it? [Report This] Summary: Harry gets detention for having bad handwriting (because he isn't used to Quills) in 1st year. Snape has him write lines with a old Quill Worksheet...not noticing that one of them belongs to his best friend.
[Report This] Summary: Snape disregards Dumbledore's orders and takes baby Harry from the Dursley's doorstep to raise as his son, with help from an immortal woman who owes him a debt.
[Report This] Summary: Lily is still alive but won't have anything to do with Severus. Soon her child is about to start Hogwarts. As Harry's teacher, Severus can either soften Lily's heart through Harry's adoration of a favourite professor, or force her to come to school through Harry's bad behaviour. Which does he pick? If he picks the latter, how does he engineer Harry's mischief? Can he do both? Does he feel anything for Harry or is he using him? Snape must be manipulative.
