Summary:

Snape is Harry's biological father, and as soon as Harry arrives at Hogwarts, Harry starts to go through physical changes, and/or Snape starts to get suspicious.

I really enjoy the fics where Harry goes through physical changes, but it always happens at like 15, 16 years old. I would like to read one where he's younger.

Summary:

Severus Snape has been severely mistreated at many points of his life, causing his mind to fracture. His sense of self is separated into several parts:

Severus [host] a socially inept individual with autistic and obsessive-compulsive tendencies surrounding dark and defensive magic whose best friend growing up was Lily Evans. Severus is the one Dumbledore thinks is teaching his students, Dumbledore trusts since his knowledge of dark arts but without the desire to actually harm anyone makes him invaluable.

Toby, age 5 a personality that developed to protect Toby from the lonliness and sadness of Spinner's End, who loves life and holds all his positive memories. Toby, however, isn’t really all that developed since Severus wouldn’t have had many positive memories and hadn’t met Lily yet – mostly attaches himself to Asphodel and thinks Harry would be a ‘cool older brother.’

Asphodel, 21 a personality that diverged from Severus because of the grief and despair on October 31st 1981. Asphodel is the character that protects Harry throughout the series, is sarcastic and quick witted but caring and instinctually protective.

Professor Snape, age 50, a personality developed to protect him from but is also most like Tobias Snape. Professor Snape is an extremely intelligent equally vicious (ex-)terrorist and potions master. He is who is actually doing the teaching since he gets called 'Professor Snape' or 'Sir' during class. Professor Snape is the character that hates Harry and who is cruel to him.

Suggested plot:

When Dumbledore asks Severus to check on Harry during the Summer, Aunt Petunia’s disdain and Uncle Vernon’s temper trigger Asphodel into protecting Harry. She orders Harry to pack his things, and apparate him to her safe house. Her job done and everything calm, Severus contacts Dumbledore who gives him temporary guardianship for the summer.

Severus tries his best, but he struggles to look after himself let alone a 14-year-old. Luckily, Harry knows how to cook but strangely doesn’t mind cooking for Severus. Severus talks about Lily Evans, a girl who he grew up with who had eyes like Harry’s and Harry learnt a lot about his mother. Severus is happy that Harry isn’t calling him weird of a freak, so Severus continues to mentor Harry. Severus teaches Harry about defensive magic and how to dispel dark curses.

When Harry mentions that he has never been to the cinema and could he please go for his birthday, Asphodel gets oddly protective and takes him, though Harry has to take over protecting Toby who decides he just has to see The Little Mermaid. Harry confronts Severus about who Asphodel and Toby are, causing Severus to have a meltdown since he doesn’t like Harry’s confrontational voice and unanswerable questions – leaving Harry to go to Dumbledore to ask what was going on.

Dumbledore manages to calm the three of them, and explains to Harry about the alters, that he did a good job looking after Toby and getting him. Dumbledore warns him about the ‘Snape’ personality, the side who is a blood purist and wouldn’t hesitate to hurt him – which doesn’t add up for Harry because that’s Professor Snape’s personality unlike Severus’. Dumbledore blanches and wonders what was going on, worrying that he’s not being paying enough attention to his teachers, then sends Madame Pomphrey to assess the situation.

Dumbledore decides to move Severus into teaching Defence Against the Dark Arts in an attempt to temper the ‘Professor Snape’ personality, suggesting that Severus use his mother’s maiden name Prince. Dumbledore makes the decision that ‘Severus/Professor Snape’ should not go back to spying duties during the next war since he realised that triggering that personality was doing more harm that he realised.

Professor Prince is a half-decent professor, even if he’s not as fun as Professor Lupin. The Defence Curse (Riddle wasn’t completely mad then, the curse decreed that there would be an annual turnover until someone as qualified as him showed up) deems that Professor Prince is a suitable professor and allows him to continue teaching.

Severus applies for magical guardianship from Dumbledore, and thus Harry is given permission to stay under the protection of Hogwarts throughout the Summers.

Summary: When Harry goes to meet Voldemort he uses the resurrection stone to see his loved ones to help him meet his destiny. This time, instead of holding the stone he swallows the stone instead. That way no one can get the stone after he dies. He didn't expect to live, so when he returns to life he still has the stone in him until it passes out of him. Which also means that he sees the deceased until it passes out of him.

Summary: What if Voldemort won the first war?

Voldemort goes after the Potters but instead of Lily, he gives James the choice to join his Death Eaters and let him through, James refuses and this provides the necessary sacrifice needed for Harry's protection. Voldemort doesn't kill Lily, instead he just stuns or otherwise incapacitates her until he deals with her son. Voldemort doesn't vanish after firing the killing curse but is weakened and retreats thinking the threat is eliminated. As per promise, Lily is spared and Snape is summoned to collect his reward prior to the Dark Lord retreating. While Lily refuses to leave her baby behind and fights Snape tooth and nail, they suddenly notice that the Harry is still alive. The killing curse did not actually kill him, he was only temporarily dead or only appeared to be like In DH. Obviously the dark Lord can never know of his survival. Snape uses a potion to alter Harry's features permanently and forges a new identity for the kid, the child of a Prince relative who joined the Death Eaters but was killed by the aurors. Snape took him supposedly in as he felt responsible for the last Prince and to make sure the kid is raised into a proper Death Eater.

Voldemort takes over the Ministry after recovering and tries to defeat Dumbledore. Things do not look good for the light, Dumbledore vanishes with the help of Fawkes and stays hidden until he can mobilize more order members. Sirius is still arrested and taken to Azkaban for openly defying Voldemort, Remus is on the run.

The wizarding world is under the control of Voldemort but he's not as insane as canon. He only kills those who openly defy him, he is keeping the statute still in tact for now but issues a lot of laws regarding muggleborns.

They're not threatened but obviously treated as second class citizens with limited education and limited job opportunities. Wizards and Witches are no longer allowed to marry muggles or muggleborns or procreate with them. Muggleborns are removed from their family after their first performance of accidental magic, their parents obliviated and the children given to Death Eater and Pureblood families to raise. They are practically homeschooled, not allowed to attend Hogwarts and are taught basic magic or specialize in whatever will serve their pureblood families. Essentially, they're a little above house elves. Hermione ends up with Severus and Lily and they teach her everything they can.

During the early years, Snape is forced to imperio Lily when Voldemort or the Death Eaters are present because he doesn't trust her to control herself. They don't question it, after all Snape needs her body not her mind. Snape later on convinces his colleagues that the events of 1981 and being under prolonged influence of imperio have damaged Lily's mind, she's no threat and believes Snape's "nephew" to be her dead son Harry. Should Voldemort ever look into little Harry's mind, this will be the explanation of any loving memories with his mother and why he is called Harry. Lily, has meanwhile, perfected the art of occlumency and impeccably empties her mind whenever the Death Eaters are present.

Snape is still involved with Dumbledore and helps him gather the Order members. Sirius breaks out of Azkaban and looks for Remus, they try to rescue Lily from Snape but she explains to them what is going on and reveals the Order's secret Headquarters to them. There are multiple assassination attempts against Voldemort but all miraculously fail, Snape infers that Dark Magic must be involved and Lily starts her research until she comes across horcruxes.

Let the hunt begin.

During the early years, Snape and Lily are a total mess together, Lily can't forgive him and believes he's enjoying this situation. They're constantly fighting but she settles down a little after realizing that she has no other choice but to stay with him. She later comes to understand Snape's true loyalties and their relationship improves. They may just have a platonic relationship or it could develop into something of a romantic nature later on.

Summary: Draco's "My Father Will Hear Of It" (tm) has nothing - NOTHING on if Harry decides "my father will hear of it"... cause in that case there will be Hell To Pay

Summary: Harry is forced to serve Umbridge's detentions, even though he didn't do anything to deserve them. He might as well do whatever he wants to deserve them. Maybe irritating other Professors will make them give him detention first. Time to take a page out of the Weasley playbook and cause mayhem.

Summary: Snape is chaperoning the Wizarding Duelling Tournament (think Spelling Bee field trip). Harry Potter is of course the Hogwarts participant/representative. There could be other students coming from Hogwarts too. They are forced to live in close quarters. Bonus if Harry also finds himself in some trouble or is experiencing anxiety/duress.

Summary: Basically, Lily and James Potter did not die that night in Godrics Hollow. Instead, they assumed their muggle aliases: Petunia and Vernon Dursley. --- It's up to you whether Dudley still exists. It's up to you whether Lily ever had a real sister named Petunia (maybe she did and Petunia died or maybe she never had a sister in the first place) It's up to you if Sirius and Remus and Dumbledore ever knew about Lily and James' escape plan or if they didn't trust anyone and kept it a secret. There should be no cupboard or starvation or abuse of course. But the caveat is, these "Dursleys" still want to be normal. They can't imagine letting the wizarding world (and Voldemort) find out they and Harry are Still alive. But they've gone a lot of years without using magic-- what can they do to stop whats coming? So what happens when Dumbledore sends snarky Professor Snape to give Harry his Hogwarts letter at 11 and make sure he knows he's meant to attend? ** could be a fun one shot or a full story if you like. Just an idea that flew into my head. Snape and Harry must be in the story obviously but I don't care what kind of relationship you give them
