I am not alone - A light in the Darkness by Tethyis

Summary: Harry is abused by every means at home by his Uncle. Harry has always felt alone, even with Ron and Hermione. He thinks things will be different with Sirius after the order comes for him. He's wrong. After Sirius drugs him one night and has his way, he's left broken. He tries to stay strong in the end, but fails after he finally breaks down and tries to take his life after a fight with Hermione and Ron. Neville and a few Slytherins (Draco included) save his life. Snape finally snaps out of his hatred for the young man, especially after he finds out Lily wanted to make him Harry's godfather.

Details:

- Harry finds journals from his parents, that show that James never wanted a child just yet. Because of this, only Lily actually raised him. They were actually planning on separating before they were killed

- Narcissa and Lily were secret friends, and was to be Harry's godmother. which would have made Harry and Draco god-brothers.

- SLASH - Neville/Harry

- good characters: Weasley, Order, Dumbledore, Remus, Malfoys, Slytherins.

- Umbridge!Bashing, slight Ron/Hermione bashing, James and Sirius Bashing.

- Protective Snape, Draco, Neville, Luna, Molly.

- Smart!Harry - He holds back in school, something Snape makes sure to fix.

- There's no soul in his scar! The connection is due to Voldie either: The blood he got from Harry OR Due to their brother wands.

- Lily and Petunia are not related. And much to their shock, Lily is Albus's daughter/grand-daughter.

Summary: Snape is patrolling the corridors and catches Harry (with possibly another person) in a funny/strange/compromising situation. When he demands Harry tell how he arrived at his current circumstances, Harry starts his explanation with "Well, it's kind of a funny story".

When he goes to Hogwarts he is broken, he is immature and childish, but sweet and cute. He is put in Slytherin and Severus sees Harry is more like his mother.

Summary: It starts off as the usual Snape discovers that Harry is his son in first or second year and forces a protesting Dumbledore to remove Harry from the Dursley's to his custody and all of his Gryffindor friends drop him and the Slytherins don't know what to make of him. However during sixth year Dumbledore is killed and Snape/Harry discovers that Dumbledore manipulated them and Harry is not his son, how the Potion's master let his heart or anger deal with the boy? How will his ex-friends react?
