Summary: Harry and Severus wind up stuck on top of the tallest metal roller coaster in the world when it malfunctions. Why are they there?
[Report This] Summary: Instead of giving Harry his memories at the last second, Snape tells him that he is must die at Voldemort's hand.
[Report This] Summary: Harry is sick with some type of cancer, and either has a different relationship than in canon with Petunia or finds a Father/Mentor in Snape. The cancer MUST be from "natural means" (meaning, not like in Recnac Transfaerso story in which he transfers the cancer from a muggle into himself).

[Report This] Summary: So there are plenty of fics where Snape spanks Harry and quit a few where Harry has been abused and learns the difference between a beating and a spank. I, being against spankings, would like to see a fic where Snape learns that there is not a HUGE difference, at least not in Harry’s mind and realizes that he’s making things much worse for Harry by punishing him that way.
Must have: Snape spanking Harry but realizing over time that he is making things worse for the boy. Options:

Summary: During Harry's first year at Hogwarts, Severus is expecting a James look-a-like and instead is faced with a child who looks exactly like himself. He is confused and shocked by this as is everyone else.
How is it James Potter's son looks just like Severus Snape, Half Blood Prince? And so begins the angst and mystery of Severus learning that he is worthy and capable of being a Father, and all that intails. Bonus: Would like Lupin to be in the story and Sirius too, at some point but it isn't really necessary. [Report This] Summary: After the final battle, Harry is severely wounded and falls into a coma. The staff at Saint Mungos can't heal him, and offer to deage him. The decision falls to Severus.

What if Severus realized as he was dying or after he died that Harry and he could have had much better lives if he had been less prejudice and seen behind the boy's uncanny resemblance to James Potter? Perhaps it would have been better if he had retrieved Harry from the Dursleys'? Or if he had decided to take Harry in after his first year? Both men are either offered a choice by the fatesand death or taken backwards by an older type of magic to change time, how do they react? Do they even realize that the other has been affected by their "old future" selves?
