[Report This] Summary: When they were born, Harry and Neville were accidentally sent home from St Mungo's with the wrong families. Nobody realises until, after Lily's sacrifice made 'Harry' the Boy Who Lived, Severus comes face to face with 'Neville' and recognises him as a Potter.
Suggestions: - Harry and Neville end up the best of friends ... or not - The prophecy is not the same as in canon (reworded to allow two potential destroyers of Voldemort) - Harry still has a role to play in the prophecy - They're both taken in by Severus - Think how each of them would be different with the other's pasts. E.g., Neville after ten years with the Dursleys would probably be even more timid than in early canon--or alternatively, the Dursleys could have had the opposite effect, taught him to stand up for himself. Then comes in Harry - to be saved as he is also feeling lonely (due to friends abandonment/depression/etc) or saves Severus as well as himself

[Report This] Summary: The prophecy about Harry has a twin seen the same night thousands of miles away by a humble psychic. Cue (4th - 6th) year. Hermione is studying about prophecies in a bid to help Harry when she stumbles upon a book by a little known psychic. Within it is the vision which Hermione instantly realizes is about her. It says that SHE will be the one to kill the Dark Lord. Suddenly her whole world is thrown into chaos. Harry, no longer the chosen one, is summarily dismissed by most of the wizarding world until an unlikely hero swoops in - with some rather dashing black robes and a sneer or two - and helps the golden trio find their footing amid suddenly shifting political and social unrest. I would love for Severus to adopt Harry and be a guardian to Hermione since her little family would be unable to help her. Dark Lord finds out about Snape true loyalities and during final battle strikes Potions Master chest with a sublime and dangerous curse. From now on father and son can't be trurly united. Each time that Harry aproaches his father Severus' heart explodes with pain, but Snape refuses to give up. Mentally tormented Harry decides to save his beloved parent and play a game to undo their strong relationship.

Suggestions: - Sirius is Harrys biological father as he was the Potters best friend and James only trusted him to provide his heir. That is the real reason why Harry inherits Grimmaulplace etc. OR - It is unclear who Harrys real father is, Sev is one of the choices OR - Sev is the one who tells harry that he is not James'.
