[Report This] Summary:
WIth Sirius(3rd year) and his mother back (from coma/time travel /from hiding/simply from the land of dead), Harry's childhood dream of a real family of his own is realized - only it's not quite the one he had always envisioned. His Mum is not exactly Molly Weasley or Petunia Dursley. His godfather, who does not quite get along with his mother, is more of a brother than a father and needs help dealing with the aftermaths of 111-yr long imprisonment ... and well, Snape who his mother is falling in love with? Lily has her plate full with trying to get Sirius exonerated, trying to forge a relationship with her son, dealing with media and a war brewing on the horizon. Add to all this, Severus Snape .... long lost friend, confidant, partner in crimes of stealing cookies and hatching plots against all that dared to threaten their monarchy over the realm of their childhood playground and riverside haven - deeply loved, oldest, best friend ever, who she could have depended on with her life ... and who had betrayed her. When she finds herself falling for this man - once again - against the wishes of her family, friends, enemy, diktats of politics - against the universe itself, it would seem .... what does she do? And then, Snape - as much as he loves her, as much as he is repentant of the course he took in his youth, can he let go of his resentment of her choice for a husband, of her betrayal? Can he really betray those who have stood by him as his friends - the DEs - for better or for worse and accepted him as their own when she rejected him.... Can he and Harry let go of their mutual hatred to forge a family? And he has a role to play in the war that he can already see - a role which makes it impossible for him to indulge in love for a living woman or son, which make his relationship with the Light side's leading stalwarts an inconvenience to the side of Light... specially since Harry is revealed to be a horcrux. Harry must grow up and so must Snape to work together, mutually towards a common goal. And just when things are looking impossible, along comes Lily to help them along. A coming of age tale for Harry as he learns the meaning of redemption, forgiveness, responsibility, duty, acceptance and love. P.S.:

What house will he end up in? [Report This] Summary: Severus Snape decides for some reason to send an Owl to the Dursleys. Why? Does he get a reply? Does he even expect one?
[Report This] Summary:
Lily Evans happily married James Potter and had a child with him, called Harry Potter. Severus Snape loved Lily Potter dearly. However, Severus Snape was also a Death Eater and a very selfish man. James Potter was nearly killed (by Voldemort, Death Eaters? Your choice.) Snape could have easily saved him... but he decided not to. Instead, he let him die - and went to comfort his young beautiful widow. In a year or two, Severus and Lily legally, but secretly married and together with Harry became a family. Lily later found out what happened with James. She was extremely angry with Severus, but didn't want to endanger his position as a spy - she left him, but they never divorced as it would require too much paperwork. Half year later, Voldemort killed her - and Harry became the Boy who lived at the age of four or five. Severus, who had grown up to love Harry in his own way, claimed him and Harry grew up with a snarky, sneering and moody but loving father. Hovewer, what would happen when Harry discovers what Severus had done? Notes: Snape IS on the light side. He was a great bastard and he still isn't a very pleasant man, even though he changed for the better with Lily's and later Harry's influence. He hates the fact that Harry resembles James, but loves Harry nonetheless. Harry loves him back. Have fun! [Report This] |
