Summary: After Lily and James are killed at Godric's Hollow, Severus takes matters into his own hands, disregards Dumbledore's orders and takes Harry away to raise him. Remus argues that he, as Harry's godfather (chosen by James) should raise Harry, but the Ministry will never give custody to a werewolf. So he appeals to Severus to allow him to live with them and help raise his godson. Should take place pre-Hogwarts and maybe up till first-second year.

Requirements:
1. Severus should either be Harry's godfather (Lily's choice) or guardian or father, your choice.
2. Remus convinces Severus to not be a spy any longer (too dangerous to raise Harry and if Severus dies, Harry will go to Dursleys) Remus could get a job at Hogwarts as well as Sev when Harry is older. Up to you where he is raised-school or home.
3. BOTH Severus and Remus should take turns with discipline, don't make one the "good guy" and one the "bad guy" - also mild Corporal Punishment could be used or none.
4. Harry should be bright and inquisitive and have at least one bout of accidental magic that scares his guardians senseless.
5. Remus's were nature should at some point go haywire, requiring Severus to brew a new version of wolfsbane.
6. Severus & Remus should eventually have a cordial relationship, friends, brothers, or otherwise and their first priority should be raising Harry to feel safe, NOT be a hero.
7. One argument should take place when Harry is school-age between the two guardians and Dumbledore about Harry's fate via the prophecy.

May include Sirius if you'd like. Or whoever else you want. Other than that, have fun!

Summary: Write a fic in which Severus Snape actually accepts Dumbledore's offer of a lemon drop. You can use any reason you wish, but he must actually put it in his mouth. Have fun! :-)

Summary:

We all know that Dumbledore left little Harry Potter on the doorstep of Number Four Privet Drive. We all know that the Dursleys never wanted the 'freak'.

Here is my challenge:

While traveling through the mortal realm, royal immortals of your choice (i.e. vampires, werewolves, fairies, elves, etc), hear the wailing of a child. Curious, they discover baby Harry on the stoop of Number Four. Despite the dangers of raising a mortal amongst immortals, the couple cannot abandon the crying infant. They agree to raise the child in secret.

Harry's disappearance is only known eleven years later, two months before he is due to begin his first year at Hogwarts. How will Dumbledore (and the rest of the faculty) react to the young immortal prince?

Optional:
• Severus is one of the immortals to raise Harry
• Harry is Sorted into Slytherin
• There is more to Lily's heritage than most people know(i.e. she is a half-blood fae, vampire, etc)

Remember to have fun with this challenge. The categories and characters are just guidelines. The couple that discovers baby Harry does not have to be a man and woman; Severus may despise Harry despite his immortaliy. The possibilities are endless and completely open.

Summary: Harry decides he needs Occlumency after all, but Snape won't forgive him the worst-memory accident. Harry overhears that Snape needs a certain potions ingredient which is fabulously hard to obtain, and takes up the search. It turns out horribly dangerous, but he still manages, even though the escape was narrow. Takes place probably summer after fifth year, Sirius may or may not be dead.

Summary: Set during HBP, Harry never casts Sectumsempra on Draco. Instead, Draco manages to crucio Harry and Severus stumbles over Draco torturing Harry. What are the consequences of this for all three of them? Will this lead to Severus learning some home truths about Harry?
