Summary: All Muggleborn students and halfbloods are required to take a Wizards Studies class to teach them basic Wizarding life skills, such as banking, Wizarding government, voting, how to petition the government, go to court, contact the Aurors, denome a garden, cook food, send public post, floo etiquette, request a portkey, international travel, find reputable stores, etc. Somehow Harry got missed when it came time to take the class, but he can't graduate until he passes the Wizarding Life Skills test.

Summary: Harry comes back to school after a particularly bad summer with the Dursley's. He goes to the room of requirement to escape for a while. The castle's magic senses that Harry needs Snape. Maybe include glamours? Everything else is up to the author!

Christmas Strays by JAWorley

Summary: Its Severus' turn this year to go out into the castle this Christmas and round up 'stray' (lonely) students who are staying at the castle for Christmas and who don't seem to be doing so well. It's tradition for one staff member to do this, sweeping the common rooms and castle for any student who seems down and then take them back to (their quarters? A special room? You decide). The goal is to gather lonely sad students into one place to keep an eye on them and make them feel wanted. Severus is no softie but is forced to admit that Potter needs to be rounded up with the others. Who else does Severus snag this Christmas, if anybody?

Questions to think about: Why is Harry feeling down? How long has it been since Severus had this duty and how did he get saddled with it this year? How does he plan on lifting the students spirits (that's up to the staff member) and does he feel like Harry will ruin those plans? Does Harry get rounded up every year? Does Severus come to any realizations about Harry or remain stubbornly ignorant?

Please no softie ooc Snape. No slash or drabbles, at least make it a decent one shot.

- What causes it? (Harry's accidental magic perhaps?)
- How often and how long does it last at a time?
- What about during Hogwarts years?
- Do Vernon and Petunia know?
- Does Dudley start to think better of Harry now he's walking in his shoes, or does he hate him even more?
- What about Harry's opinion of Dudley?
- Other people's reactions if they know?
- Does Harry start getting fat and Dudley start losing weight, or does it not make a difference?
- When does it stop (if ever) and how?
- Is Dudley a Muggle or a wizard?
- How long does it take for Snape, Dumbledore or whoever to find a way to stop it?
