Summary: Harry is sent to a brat-camp!

Some ideas:
- Can be because he really is behaving like a brat, because his relatives just want to get rid of him for a while or for any other reason you can come up with.
- Snape can be there as a counsellor, or to investigate why Harry is there, or any other reason.
- The camp could be for muggles or for wizards/witches.
- The camp can be good for Harry, or it could be bad.
- Dudley may or may not be sent there too, if it’s a camp for muggles.
- Snape can be the one pushing Harry’s need to change in a positive way, or he may be the one to see that Harry really isn’t a brat after all.

Regardless of what you do with this challenge, I’d like to see a story with a good mix of angst and fluff and with a happy ending.

Inspiration can also be found on youtube, if you search for brat camp.

Summary: Severus Snape has a twin who is different than he is. It's an identical twin but has a different personality. Somehow Harry encounters this twin either at Hogwarts or out in the world and somehow this leads to Severus Snape having a different view of Harry. You decide all the details. No slash. If you're looking for a challenge where Harry has a twin, see the Potter Twin challenge by me.

There are so many possiblities here. Some ideas are:
- Both twins teach at Hogwarts and Severus is still Potions Master.
- Severus still has a very negative opinion of Harry as in canon and can't see why his brother doesn't hate the Potter brat.
- Harry may be Severus' twin brother's child and they have just found this out. Maybe his twin dies part way through the story or disappears and uncle Severus has to take over and re-evaluate his position on Harry. Or maybe his twin wants nothing to do with his child and Severus feels like he as the boy's uncle should take responsibility for him however irritating and infuriating the child is and clothes him and gives him shelter?

However different Severus' twin brother is, Severus Snape should stay in character to the best of your ability as a writer, and whatever change that takes place within him for the good or bad should be believable and gradual.

Summary: Harry Potter had a twin (girl or boy, you decide) and that twin survived and is also magic. Somehow they grew up together at least for the last couple of years... at the Dursleys? In an orphanage? On the street? In the wizarding world? All up to you. Harry is very protective and his twin is scared a lot because of how they grew up though his twin does have other redeeming qualities. Harry is scared too but is bent on protecting his sibling no matter the cost to himself.

You decide on how they meet Snape. Either at Hogwarts for the first time or some other way. Should be interesting.

Bonus if it's at least 5 decent sized chapters long. No drabbles. No slash. No sexual abuse in past.

Summary: Harry has enough and decides to pretend insanity. Severus somehow finds out. Harry doesn't tell his friends. At least at first. Can't involve slash.

Summary: Somehow Harry and Ron both end up in Ravenclaw. You decide how that happens and what the implications of that are. One track you might take is that Harry and Ron have a pre-established friendship (for however long) and even though Ron wants to be in Gryffindor, when Harry gets sorted into Ravenclaw (you decide why), Ron begs the sorting hat to sort him there too. Or maybe Ron wants to prove that he's not stupid like his brothers say he is so he asks for Ravenclaw. Now Ron has a problem... his family thinks he's extra smart and studious, the twins think he's a traitor for not being in Gryffindor, and Ron feels like he's made a huge mistake but doesn't know what to do about it.

What about Harry? Why was he sorted into Ravenclaw? Harry knows Ron shouldn't be there, but he's glad that his friend is there because Harry is lonely and feels out of place wherever he goes because of the Dursleys and how they've raised him.

This must be a non-slash story.

Would somehow like to see Draco involved in this story. Did he somehow do something foolish during the sorting also and get into the wrong house? Would be fun to see him in Gryffindor or Ravenclaw and feeling out of place, but if he's still in Slytherin that's cool too.

Ok now for Snape's involvement. That's up to you to decide. Maybe one of the boys goes to him about being placed in the wrong house. Maybe he sees that Harry feels out of place or sees that something seems to be wrong with several of the first years including Harry, Ron and Draco? Or maybe Snape is a total arse in this story. It's all really up to you.

Summary: One of two options:

1) Harry accidentally kills Snape (or thinks he has) and has to deal with the consequences.

2) Harry actually deliberately kills (or tries to kill) Snape. By 'kill', I don't mean in a duel, I mean actual murder. Can be pre-meditated or crime of passion, BUT it still has to be in character. Have fun working that one out ...

Can be any category, any other characters involved. No character bashing, no slash.

Bonus if Snape (if he survives) knows Harry did it, but covers for him.

Summary: Crossover with Steven Universe. Harry and Snape are Gems and must fuse to stop Voldemort
