Summary: When two year old Dudley starts showing signs of magic, Vernon and Petunia have had enough and take both Harry and Dudley to an orphanage. They are raised there, become as close as brothers, and both are sorted into Slytherin once they get to Hogwarts. When Professor Snape finds out how they grew up, he takes them under his wing and eventually adopts them.

Summary: Harry is Severus' younger brother who was stolen at birth by either James or Sirius (writers choice). James and Lily must be alive, they also must have a son older by 2-3 years than Harry. Harry must be the same age as Ginny. Sev's and Harry's father must be good, also must be a wizard. The truth must be found out close to Christmas by the class Harry's in doing some kind of heritage potion. When the truth comes out Harry's real parent take James and Lily to court, they must end up with custody of Harry, Harry must be resorted under his real name. Harry must find it hard to cope with his new family so he tries to run away, but ends up found. Story must have no Voldemort- Voldemort must have died before Harry was born when Voldemort attacked James and Lily's son 2-3 years before Harry was born. The elder Malfoys must be good, they also must be Harry's godparents. Story must have corporal punishment for rules such as harming himself or others.

Summary: One of the incidents during Harry's time at Hogwarts causes him to become subject to a certain Hogwarts bylaw which requires him to be placed in another house.

  2. Harry believing that it is his new Head of House making these rules, not original guidelines
  3. Godric Gryffindor being responsible for the rules

Forest Savior by Baghi

Summary: The Dursley's take Harry camping on his fourth birthday, only to conveniently forget to make sure that he stayed near the camp. Dudley followed Harry to bully him, but both boys vanish. Seven years later the boys are both sorted into Slytherin. How will Severus deal with two wizardlings who have been missing for seven years?
    Must have:
  1. Dudley is Harry's protector
  2. The boys ask Hogwarts to make them a separate room from the others, one that reflects the forest scenery they grew up with.
  3. Severus has to find out about them before fifth year
  4. Introduce who raised them (extra points if it's not a normal animal)
  5. There must be a prophecy involving Harry and Dudley concerning the saving of the forests and creatures being threatened by Muggle and Wizard alike
      Bonus:
    1. Dudley and Harry develop more than cousinly feelings for each other, displaying in gentle touches between the two.
    2. Tell what happened to the Dursley's after Harry is no longer there to keep the wards up.

  3. Harry writes his aunt regarding Snape's behavior towards him, and she requests a meeting with him.
