If Remus wasn't quite so kind by TEC

Summary:

What if Severus Snape adopted Harry Potter between his first year and the summer before his third year which upsets Remus Lupin. 

Remus arrives as DADA teacher and is immediately jealous because he has struggled as a werewolf and lived in poverty while Severus, a marked Death Eater pre turning spy has succeeded as the youngest head of house and Potions Master. Severus has a good relationship with Harry, further fueling Remus's resentment. 

Haunted by memories of the Marauders and coping with his struggles, Remus drinks too much and takes his frustrations out on Harry.

**Extra points if Sirius is the reasonable one and Regulus Black is somehow.
