Thank you a truly dramatic chapter with a lot of angst, well done.
I dropped my phone in excitment when I saw that there was a new chapter to your story! (Phone is fine, lol) AND WHAT A CHAPTER! Oh my...the feels! I've actually reread it three times now to take it all in. I wasn't expecting Ariel to hand over the letter...I wonder if she even expected to, herself? (There's that fire!) I hope we get to learn the significance of the phrase in the letter that basically made Snape's head explode (lol). I loved the bit with the diagnostic spell...Ariel's reaction was so sweet. I imagine it reminded Snape of Lily and her awe of magic when she first learned of it. I feel bad for the both of them right now. I don't know who I feel worse for. Ariel has had time to somewhat wrap her head around everything, but she did just seemingly experience rejection from Snape, and that's got to hurt. Snape has lived all these years with anger, misery, and regret, knowing his role in Lily's death. As if that wasn't bad enough, he now has to teach the product of the union between the woman he loved and his childhood enemy...only to startlingly learn that HE'S Ariel's father! I don't blame him for about passing out. I can't wait to see the fall-out of all of this! Thanks for another great chapter!
