Oh I absolutely adored all the mushroom hunting and teaching in this chapter. It's so cool that the apothecary was teaching Harry and not taking advantage of his lack of experience and naivety.
I'm here to say that I loved this sentence: "Harry reached forward and took his arm, and a moment later found himself on a foggy windswept moor with gentle hills rising up on either side of him." It just transported me and I felt like it was easily for me to visualize. I have a hard time with that, but this was a complete atmosphere shift in my head which was dope.
But I like this story and I wanted to point out that your price for the mushrooms doesn’t make much sense. Snape said to not accept anything less than 1 galleon and 40 sickles. But that would be 3 galleons and 6 sickles (way more than his estimated 2 galleons) and a dumb way to say it. As there are 17 sickles to a galleon. Same way as saying 1 Dollar and 234 cents.
Thank you for updating
Definitely looking forward to more.
