    That wand wanted to be used. A lot. 

    I hope Meeksi gets her elflings out with the kids. I don't know that she can go but hopefully she'll at least be able to save her kids. 

    Poor Erich. 

    Ms Tibbons isn't really trying to assume control but her intervention is helpful. The kids would resist her trying to be their leader at this point anyway.

    I've skimmed this chapter to catch up. I'm afraid this is not my choice of reading but I love your characters and it is so well written
