Nice chapter. Teenagers do seem to have attitude problems. I hope Snape realizes that Harry has a lot of emotional problems.
Uh-oh. LOL at the timeout though. That was funny. Great chapter as usual, though, I noticed a mistake. ". . . napkin goes in your mouth . . ." Maybe you meant 'in your lap'? Awesome! Amazing! Love it! The banter and all the thoughts were done very well- clever and very much in character. I love the plot, it was a great chapter, lots of stuff happened. Everything was great. The dream in the beginning was a great touch, I loved how Harry carried the hair brush into the bathroom like a bat, ready to smack anything that attacked him. XD The time out was such a shock to Harry and me! Poor Harry! I loved Harry thoughts about Snape being his Guardian, it was very fluid and engaging. I really followed it easily without guessing it beforehand. Great stuff! And now Snape's mad and coming to get him! LOL@ that he's carrying the schedule. Great description there. Thanks so much for writing and posting this chapter! It rocks. A couple of typos but that's it.

The plot and action are not slow at all! Chapters like this one helped developing the characters, the interaction between them and their insights. I really like that you take your time building the story and not rushing it. That's the only way one can accept Harry's changing feelings towards the Potions Master without being OOC. Great work! Hope you can update really soon, can´t wait for the next chapter (the talk about consequences and the essay sound like a lot of fun)
Thanks for updateing, no one else is and it's beginning to bum me out. So is Snape going to blow a gasket or what? Looking forward to another update.
It's pretty good so far, though I'm really hoping that this turns our H/Hr, as there is a serious lack of that pairing on this site. Does no one here believe that a lasting relationship should be comprised of friendship, loyalty, solidarity, respect, and love? Or are they all bowing to the expected 'canonized norm' of R/Hr (don't even get me started on H/G), where the only thing going there is bickering, jealousy, escalating to verbal (B1-6) and physical (B6) abusive tendencies? Sure they're friends, but in a real life situation, they'd never make it, they're too different; they'd either be broken-up (whether dating or married) within, at most, a few years. Please don't give me that old line about 'opposites attract', it's actually a societal/psychological myth; everyone only sees the few differences that a true long-lasting couple possesses, rather than paying attention to just how alike they truly are. I can honestly say that I don't know where you're going with this, but I really hope that if you do ANY pairings at all, you would have the good sense to do them intelligently. Just an odd observation: Very few people actually notice just how alike Ron Weasley and Draco Malfoy really are. With the exceptions of their coloring, status, and general attitude about muggles, muggleborns, and half-bloods, almost everything else is exactly alike. Watch for this the next time you read the books; Ron (and pretty much the rest of his family) while thinking muggles and the like are 'interesting', never actually tries to get to know anything about them, disdaining much of what they can do - many times even better than the magical world - even though he and his family has ready access to it through H & Hr. You get a B (8) for your efforts so far, let's hope that you (and Harry) will do your best to improve and to impress me (and Snape) in the future (chapters).
