Great chapter! Thanks for the quick update. I hope Snape and Harry have fun at the block party but it sounds like that there may be some trouble. Don't make us wait too long to find out.

Author's Response: Thank you! I think that they will have fun, but not too much trouble. :)

"He felt like he was making a deal with a rouge" It's rogue; he's not making a deal with a cosmetic.

And bubble and squeak sounds awful.

But the interaction between Snape and Harry was great and I enjoyed it.

    Author's Response:

Thanks, I actually looked that up in the dictionary to make sure that I was getting the right spelling, but I guess it didn't transfer right through my brain at 2:30 AM.

Bubble and squeek is actually supposed to be quite good. It's a breakfast staple.

    Thanks for your review.

Love fast updates. Nice chapter. Snape is becoming more parental all the time. I'm sure if anyone told him, he would have a fit.

Author's Response: I bet he would! Haha! thank you for your comments. :)

Aw that was so sweet, and an update so quickly. I'm impressed. Yes, I agree about the smaller chapters. I was just contemplating that recently. I personally would prefer to have smaller chapters, and more frequent updates than longer chapters and have to wait long periods for updates. The story flows better in my mind if I don't have to wait too long.

I really loved that interaction between Snape and Harry. That was too cute. I love how they negotiated and Snape softened up a bit, without losing any of his authority or leverage. That was really sweet.

Great chapter Jan, I can't wait for the next.

Oh, and I loved the last line. How much trouble could one small, messy-haired boy get into? This is Harry Potter, we're talking about.

You know it's strange but I don't usually like a de-aged Harry, and yours is one of the few I read, but I'm really enjoying this story. I can't wait till he goes back to normal though, and I hope that he can still be cared for by Snape and Hoppity. I think that they balance each other out and give Harry what he needs.

Okay, so I'm rambling. It's early in the morning and I'm getting ready for work. So, please update soon. I'm dying to see the "block" party! Hee hee!

    Author's Response:

Thank you Pandora! I have to agree with what you said - that the story flows better if you don't have to wait as long to read it. I think that an update every other day, or couple of days works best, but unfortunately I am not that fast of a writer. :) I think that not obsessing about the chapter and worrying about errors was slowing me down, as well as making the chapters so long. I would write half of it and then put it away for awhile (sometimes a long while) when just posting that I had was long enough to be a shorter chapter, even though there wasn't a natural end to it. And then I would look, and look at it when in actuality, I don't make that many errors to make it unreadable. So I'm just going to keep trucking along.

I'm glad that you like my deaged Harry. I think that it is very difficult to keep both Harry and Snape in character in this genre of story.

Don't worry, Harry will be able to go to both Snape and Hoppity once he is reaged. Spending a summer with people just makes you close to them, and they don't really have a choice. :)
