Lol, Snape would be camera paranoid. I feel bad when he interacts with Harry because I'm used to "fanfiction Snape," who eventually becomes nice. I'm not sure that yours is going to, though I am glad that he's got Harry's best safety interests in mind.

    -P.G.

Author's Response: Don't worry, Snape will eventually become "nice" but in his own way. :) It will develop and I think that you will like how it turns out.

I felt so bad for Harry when he was waiting for Snape to come back and felt left behind! That is just the thing that Snape would do; what a git. I hope things get better between him and Harry as the story unfolds.

    -P.G.

Author's Response: Yeah, poor Harry. Snape is just mean!

In response to your response to my review. Ooh,,.my head is spinning!

I could see Snape struggling with himself not to hit Harry. You could have his inner turmoil on that, and then I could realistically see him getting frustrated, picking Harry up bodily and putting him in his room with a strong warning to stay put or else! Then when Harry calms down, I could see Snape coming up with some punishment that Harry absolutely loathes, like he's not allowed to play outside, or not allowed to watch tv, or scrub caulderons or something equally horrible.

But yeah...I could see Snape definitely wanting to hit Harry, but stopping himself because of Hoppity and not wanting to be like his own abusive father.

Yeah, you could have Hoppity and Snape arguing about an appropriate punishment. That would make nice angst! Oh, I'm not trying to tell you how to write your story, just offering ideas.

But I have faith that you'll come up with something great and funny too!

Oh...I'm so anxious for the next part! Did I say that I'm really glad that you're back!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for this review!! i didn't tell you at the time, but your comments helped me get over the hurdle of writing this scene, and helped me figure out what was going to happen! You really helped contribute! Thank you! I thought about all of your ideas, and came up with a scebe, but I'm afraid that I didn't write it down right away, so I forgot about the details and just wrote what came to me. It would be interesting to see some alternate one-shots, however.
Title: Agent D, and the Spotting of the Dragon 26 Dec 2008 11:16 am

This is so good. I love how distrustful Snape is of Agent D. I'm surprised that Harry didn't get upset when Hoppity pulled the dragon away from him. Even though she meant well, Harry is used to be taunted and having good things taken away from him by the Dursleys. I feel like he would be slightly distrustful of her after that and would expect Dursleyesque treatment from her afterwards.

P.S. I can't believe you said that Snape might have actually thought Harry falling asleep at his plate would be cute if it wasn't Harry--perhaps Snape has a heart after all!

Author's Response: Good point! I guess that when I was writing this, I thought that Harry was so used to things being taken away from him that he didn't show much of a reaction. Yes, Snape does have a heart, but will Harry get to it? You'll have to keep reading to find out (and I have to keep writing!) Thank you for your reviews! :)
Title: Welcome to British Airlines 26 Dec 2008 10:45 am
Reviewer: Ponytail Goddess (Signed) [Report This]
Lol, I'm loving this. I'm surprised that none of the Muggles have noticed that Snape is using a quill instead of a ballpoint pen. I hope Harry leans on Snape when he falls asleep because that would probably irritate, which in turn would make me laugh.

Lol about the tea issue. I guess they'll have to get used to ice tea, which I've heard my Brit friends say is absolutely horrible.

    -P.G.

Author's Response: Maybe they did notice but don't care. I didn't really think of it, but that's a good point. :) Thanks for your reviews! You always give me something to think about. :)
Title: The Deaging Potion 26 Dec 2008 9:55 am
Reviewer: Ponytail Goddess (Signed) [Report This]
Wouldn't it be ironic if Remus was the leak? After all, he did visit Harry at his house during the summer. Madeye has always creeped me out though, so I suppose he could also perhaps be the leak.

I am surprised that Harry didn't ask who he was going with before he deaged himself. Not so smart on his part.

I think I'm really going to like this fic--good work!

    -P.G.

Author's Response: Ah, I didn't really think about who was the leak, but perhaps I can use that for an interesting twist in the sequel. :) Thanks! I don't think that Harry is always the smartest about things, but he tries. Thanks for your review!!

She does sound like she's related to Dumbley, all peppy and such. I think she's going to drive Snape even more crazy than Potter will on this little journey. I can't wait to see what happens!

    -P.G.

Author's Response: Haha, you are right! :) Thank you!

I love your story. The contrast between Severus and Hoppity is brilliant, annoying and funny all at the same time. I like how he is warming up to Harry but not all at once. Thanks for the update. I definitely want to read this all the way through!

Author's Response: Thank you, I am so glad that you like the story so much, and can enjoy the contrast. :)

This is a wonderful story, I'm so glad it isn't abandoned

Author's Response: Thank you, Gem! Nope, never abandoned. It will be finished, eventually!
