    Yeah for a chapter. Snape seems to be warming up to Harry. He even called him Harry a couple of times.

    This chapter is so cute. Harry is slipping deeper into his little self while Snape is becoming more of a "daddy" figure. It's really a subtle change, hidden away in your story. So it doesn't seem ooc or anything. Your Snape is still Snape... trying to get Harry to gather daisies, lol. Oh an Hoppity is sweet, taking care of Harry. But she doesn't gush over him either. I think that's a really strong part of your story. All your characters are adjusting to fill their rolls, but you can still true selves. Am I making any sense? It's late... 

    So, I hope you're feeling all super inspired to write now. And that you start to pop out lots and lots of chapters! Your kidfic is really one of my favorite stories. I can't wait to read more. Thanks for the great update.

    Awww, how sad that Harry got so sick.  It was nice of Snape to get him a present.  And to help take care of him at night.  He even read to him.  So cute!  He does care in his own unsual way.  Hope you can update soon with more Snape/Harry!

    Somehow I missed reviewing for this chapter and reading it too, so I read it yesterday, and let me just say it was fabulous! I loved how Snape was so 'nice' to Harry and held him on his lap and carried him and everything. Bet he and Harry were glad when that was over. Still, I can see Snape slowly softening towards Harry a bit, but still staying in character. Great job again, and I have read all the way up to chapter 21, and it's awesome what you've got! I really hope you can update soon and please continue with this story, because it's awesome! It's one of my favs!

    Aw, great update, Jan. Harry getting sick. I feel so sorry for him. It's great how Snape took a turn watching over him like that, even reading him a story! So cute!

    Hope you can update again soon with more Snape/Harry interaction!

    Snape is so dense when it comes to love :) He's like Ron, with the emotional range of a teaspoon. Absolutely love the story! :D

    Awwwwww. The Velveteen Rabbit was one of my favorite books when I was a kid. (Had nothing to do with it being one of the longest, nosiree). I just love seeing Snape going all nurturing in his own snarky way.

    Am curious though to see what becomes of Occlumency and the bruises on Harry's arms.

    Author's Response: I like the Velveteen Rabbit too but I discovered it when I was older. We'll see about Occlumency... I think the bruises are almost gone?
