    Poor Harry.  It's interesting to see Malfoy taking an interest and the reasons why.  I hope that Severus will be able to keep the kid away from the rotten Dursleys.  Please, update soon.

    This is a fantastic fic. I have it saved in my bookmarks and am checking for updates weekly. Though, I would like to see some chapters from Harry's point of view too. Other than that -- perfection!

     You are very talented. Thank you for writing this, and for writing so well.



    Author's Response: I don't intend to write any chapters from Harry's point of views. It's actually one of my big pet peeves, the frequent POV switches that you see in some fanfics, especially when the author feels the need to label the POV.

    Eep.

    Oh, your Harry tugs at my heartstrings. Every time he cringes, I do too.

    Severus' POV is engaging, and believable, and frustrating, because of course I realize every misstep about a second and a half before he makes it and by then it's too late. I love the fight between Severus' need to hate Lily and James and everything associated with them, and his need to take care of his Slytherins.

    Thank you for writing! I can't wait for more.

    Poor Severus, he does make a lot of mistakes with Harry, doesn't he? You'd think someone so smart would do a better job.

    OMG!!! Reading this story brought tears to my eyes! It's very rare that you read a good abused Harry story and where Snape is still IC and you have achieved this. I am totally in love with this story. I can't wait for the next chapter. Keep up the good work!

    This story us wickid! you should add it to Fanfiction.net! everyone will love it! its amazing, I hope in the end that Snape doesnt continue it for revienge and is Harry going to be returning to his family or will Snape make it look like he returned and take Harry to his home? its Harry's blood that has to be in Privet Drive not him, his blood. so if Snape puts blood in privet drive the wards should be satisfied and Dumbledore need never know!!

    Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing. I think that putting Harry's blood at Privet Drive might fool the wards but isn't likely to fool Dumbledore as he's pretty smart. But Snape won't be letting Harry go back to the Dursleys if he can possibly prevent it at all.

    God poor Harry - he's such a wreck! What's even sadder is that Snape thinks his kindness is just for revenge. Boy wont he be surprised? I'm hoping anyway. Great chapter, I'm still very glad you didn't leave this a one-shot.

    Author's Response: Snape is really clinging to the idea of revenge, isn't he? I hope it's obvious that Harry's starting to mean more to him than that.

    I know it's wicked of me but I'd rather make people cry than laugh... but things will get better for Harry in the end and then you won't have to cry for him, 'kay?

    Your Snape is doing a wonderful job of vacillitating.  At times the snarky potions master and at times an almose human. . . . human.  I' curious why Draco is interested in Harry.  I would guess that the episode where Harry rejects Draco's hand of friendship didn't happen in this story.  Thanks for the update!

    You're correct, it didn't. Can you imagine this scrawny little Harry having the courage to reject someone to their face?

    Poor Snape, he can't make up his mind to be truly nice or truly nasty.
